Chapter 8: Proposal?!

APOV    [8:56 AM]

I woke up with Stevie's head on my chest. We we were still naked and she looked absolutely stunning. I replayed last nigh in my head over and over again. I remember sleeping at 5:23 AM and kissing Stevie on her forehead. I looked at my phone and it was already 8:56 AM. I didn't even care that we were gonna miss school again, I only cared about the moment I was in. Stevie in my arms, and butterflies in my stomach. I also had 4 miss calls from my mom and 7 from Danny. I removed Stevie's head on my chest and placed it on a pillow. I put my pizza boxer briefs on and my black muscle tee. I went out the living room and sat on the couch while petting Whisky. I called my mom.

"Hey mom, I'm sorry I missed your calls. I was--" I thought of an excuse and realized that why bother? And so I said "I was with Stevie and I stayed at her apartment. Don't worry I'm safe and sound and once again I'm really sorry if you guys were worried."

"Oh thank goodness you're okay! Please don't do that again, your dad and I was so worried! Why aren't you at school?" My mom asked sounding so worried.

"Uhm, I kind of just woke up. I had a busy night and I did some projects but don't worry I'm not sick or anything, I'm just tired." I said trying to explain.

"Okay, promise me you'll be fine alright? Okay bye honey, take care! Love you!" She said sounding relieved.

"Yes mom, I will. Stevie's making me feel better. I love you too." I said as I ended the call. I texted Danny next.

Me: hey Danny sorry if I haven't returned any of your calls. I was just busy yesterday. Probably won't be able to make it to school today too. Oh and also, I'm with Stevie.

I pressed send and continued to play with Ziggy and Whisky.

SPOV

I woke up with Ally not by my side. I thought she already left and so I wore a white shirt and some panties. I proceeded to the door when I heard Ally talking to someone on the phone. It was her mom.

"Yes mom, I will. Stevie's making me feel better. I love you too." Ally said.
Ally sounded so cute. I stayed in the room and went ahead and sat on my bed. I replayed the things Ally did to me last night and how it made me felt. I couldn't help but smile to myself. I proceeded to come out of my room to find Ally playing with Ziggy and Whisky.

"Ohaiiii pretty" I said with my morning voice as I smiled at her.

"Oh hai" She said sounding all cute and smiled back at me.

"We missed school again." I said as I sat next to her on the couch.

She looked at me and kissed me. I felt all the chills going up my spine.

She pulled away looking serious and said "I need to come home."

That was weird she was all happy a while ago and now she seems like she was panicking.

"Oh okay, do you want me to come with you?" I said as I ran up my hands up her arm. She pulled her arm away and looked so nervous. What is up with her?

"Yes you can come to my house as my BEST FRIEND." She said with emphasis on best friend. I'm pretty sure my face flushed. Why do I keep tolerating the things she do to me? I should kick her out of my house right now but I didn't want to. Instead I hid all the pain and said "Oh yeah, I forgot. Sure!" I smiled at her but I'm pretty it looked like a forced smile.

She put my pants on and I wore some sweatpants. She put on her bra and I did the same. We went in her car and the whole car ride was just like a normal car ride except that IT WAS 100 TIMES WEIRDER. I was mad at her but I liked her and so I kept stopping that feeling. We arrived at her house and she grabbed my arm and pulled me to her room.

"Mom, I'm home!" She yelled and then closed the door.

She sat me down her bed and she sat on her computer chair. She was directly across me.

"Stevie." She said. I felt really nervous and uncomfortable. What is she trying to do?

"Yes?" I said looking very confused.

"The thing that happened last night it wa--" I cut her off by saying "I know. It was nothing. I mean it was something but it meant nothing right? I'm your best friend and that will stay the same." I smiled at her but deep down I wanted to punch a wall. I said those things because it would hurt more if I heard her say it.

"Exactly. You're my best friend and I don't want to lose you." She said as I could see her tearing up.

I don't want to lose you? I am so confused right now.

"Why the fuck did you drag me all the way to your house? To tell me that? You could've just said that at my house!" I said sarcastically, she laughed and her laugh actually made me feel better.

"Remember how you said that you were struggling to pay rent?" Ally asked while smiling at me.

"Yeah. And so?" I asked, in my I thought where is this conversation heading to?

"I have a proposal for you. I was wondering if it's okay to move in with you? I'll help you with the rent, we can help each other with homeworks, and plus there's 2 rooms vacant at your place." She said. It wasn't actually a bad idea but I'm pretty sure it is a bad idea.

"Oh my God, that's a great idea!" I said, why the fuck did I say that?

"That's why I dragged you to my house. I'm gonna move today, since you know we missed school and stuff." Ally said as I smiled.

APOV

I'm moving in with Stevie. I've already texted mom about what I was gonna do and she's totally fine with it, besides I'm already 18. Plus I want to be with her every day, I want to protect her and help her with everything that I got. I know that it's not my job but still, I love her. I've put everything in my car with the help of Stevie and my dad.

"Bye mom, I promise that I'll always visit. Bye dad, thanks for helping us with the stuff." I said as I hugged both of them.

"Stevie, take care of her and Ally, take care of Stevie. We're always here if you need anything." My mom said.

"We love you honey. And you too Stevie" my dad said as he hugged Stevie.

We went in the car and waved goodbye. I started the engine and drove to Stevie's apartment. I still needed a bed.
After putting all the boxes inside the vacant room, I looked at her and said "IKEA?" She nodded and smiled at me. Oh how sweet her smile was.
