APOV

I woke up to Stevie's head on my chest. I reached for my phone from the bed side table and looked at the time. It was already 11:43 and it was Monday. I knew that we had school but fuck it. I removed Stevie's head from my chest and got up. I walked to the living and sat on the couch while I petted Whisky on my lap.

I called my mom. My mom owns a restaurant and I wanted to do something special for Stevie.

"Hi sweetie. Aren't you supposed to be in school?" My mom said.

"Hi mom, uhm I decided not to go because I've been really tired the past few days but don't worry about it. I was just wondering if I could borrow the restaurant for the whole day. I'm kind of planning something for Stevie." I said quietly and trying not to stutter.

"Of course! We can close out at 12 noon. Just tell Dana what you need and she'll get it done for you. Specifically what are you planning for Stevie?" My mom asked in a cheesy tone.

"Um. I'm uh, I'm gon-gonna ask her-her to um be m-my girlfriend." I said. I was so nervous.
"If that's okay with you." I continued quickly.

"Oh honey. How wonderful! Of course it's okay with me. You can make your own decisions without asking me. It's alright. I like her so you better make this perfect for her, okay?" My mom replied as I walked outside the apartment to get some air.

"I promise. Thanks mom. You're the best." I said as I smiled to myself.

My mom hung up and I heard Stevie going out of her room.

"Uh-shoot mom, really? Okay I'll be there as soon as possible. Bye." I said while not really talking to my mom, she hung up like 30 seconds ago. I did that because I need to get things done for later. For Stevie.

I got in the apartment and closed the door. Stevie was making coffee. I snaked through her waist put my arms around her. I hugged her from the back basically. I moved her hair on one side and kissed her neck as she continued to make coffee.

"So you need to go somewhere later?" Stevie asked me. I'm pretty sure she heard me when I was pretending to talk to my mom on the phone.

"Ya, apparently I'm having this family reunion kind of thing and you know I really got to go." I said quickly thinking of a response. I'M A GOOD LIAR.

SPOV

I took a sip of my coffee. I was waiting for Ally to ask me to come with her to her family reunion but I guess she doesn't want me to come. Ally, you are so complicated.

She finished her cup of coffee and got up her chair.

"I'm just gonna go get ready. Your better go to school. I don't want you to miss any lectures or projects." Ally said as she kissed my forehead. She's acting like a mother. What the fuck Allison.

"You're gonna miss lectures too! Why don't you have to go to school?" I said as I grabbed her hand as she tried to walk to her room. She turned to me and kissed me on my lips.

"Cause I have to go to a family reunion." She said as she smiled and kissed me again before she headed to her room.

I looked at the clock to see that it was 12:22. I got up the chair and got to my room. I showered and put on a black dress. I went to the living room and sat on the couch. I looked at the clock again and it was 12:40. Wow, I got prepared in less than 20 minutes. Wow. I waited for Ally to come out of her room.

"Hey lady." Ally said as I saw her coming out of her room. She was wearing a white dress and a hat. My jaw dropped, she looked beautiful.

"Wow, why can't we just stay home and go to my bedroom and you know, do some other stuff." I said as I ran my fingers through her hair. She smiled and laughed. I kissed her and I tried to deepen the kiss but she wouldn't allow it.

"Stevie let's go." She said as she intertwined her hands with mine and walked to her car.

She drove me to school.

"Okay, I'll pick you up. I promise. I love you and learn new stuff!" She said as she kissed me.

I unbuckled my seatbelt and kissed her again. I deepened the kiss and this time she allowed it but she pulled away.

"Stevie! Go on! I'm late to the reunion! Stop mesmerizing me." She said as she smiled at me. I smiled back and got out the car and waved.

I watch her drive away as I got in the attendance office. I had 2 periods left and it was still lunch.

I got to the cafeteria and immediately saw Shannon, Cammie, Danny, Rose, and Rosie.

"Rose, Rosie!!!" I yelled and hugged them.

"I haven't seen you in forever!" Rose said as they pulled away from the hug.

"Maybe cause you guys left us for Paris." I burned them. Ooooo.

"Nice burn Stevie!" Danny said as he high fived me.

I sat with them and we talked.

"So I heard you're going out with Ally." Rosie said.

"I am. She's amazing." I said as I took a bite of my sandwich.

"She tried to hit on me last year, but I didn't give in because I was already with a magnificent girl." Rose said as she kissed Rosie's cheek.

"Alright let's not talk about that." Shannon said as she smiled.

"Anyways why isn't she at school?" Cammie asked as everyone looked at me.

"She went to a family reunion. I don't even get why she wouldn't ask me to go. I mean if I had a family reunion I would ask her to come with me." I said looking confused.

"Oof, that's weird even for Ally. She would never not ask a girl to go with her to a family thing. That's why her parents were so happy when she met you because they were so tired of seeing all these different girls with Ally." Danny said.

"What if she went on a date?" Cammie said.

"Guys can we not. She said she's going to a family reunion. That's it." I said firmly.

"Oh come on Stevie. Aren't you curious of what she's doing right now?" Rosie said.

"No! She's not gonna do anything wrong. I know that." I said but I had my suspicions.
