Chapter 2

"I thought it is a surprise party for Talia, why is your face looks like you're going to attend a Halloween Party?" my brother asked while my mother fixing my hair.

"Seth, don't tease your sister." My mom said to him.

"I'm not teasing her, mom. I'm just saying what I see." He said then leaved my room.

"Don't mind your brother Cindy, you're still the most adorable and beautiful girl on that party." My mom said.

"But not in Ryugi's eyes." I said with a sigh.

I don't hear any comments from my mom so I look at her and I see that she is smiling.

"Mom?" I asked because she's smiling without any reason.

"You know what dear, I'm sure that Ryugi really deserves you." She said finally after a few seconds of just smiling.

"But I don't deserve him." I said and stand up.

"Wait, your hair is not yet finish." My mom stops me by holding both of my shoulders.

"Mom, this is too much. This is not my party, it is for Talia." I remind her.

"Talia, Talia, Talia. I don't care about her, I care for you." She said and rolled her eyes.

I just hug her and thank her for doing these things. My brother and I were just the only one who'll come to that surprise party because my mom and dad have a date. We came early than we expected so I helped Mika, my brother's girlfriend, in preparing the cupcakes.

"Candy!" I almost jumped when I heard that call.

"How many times do I have to tell you that it is Cindy not Candy!" I shouted him.

"Whatever." He said and shrugged his shoulder.

"Don't 'whatever' me, you-"

"You, what?" he asked and smirk.

"You.... You... Aaaaarrrgghh!!! I really hate you Ryugi Kobayashi!!" I shouted and walked out.

Sh*t! Sh*t! Sh*t!

He should be thankful that I love him or else I'd kill him!!! Aaarrgghhh!!!

(After a few minutes)

"Cindy, the party's going to start." Mika said and leave me alone again in the garden.

Okay, I know it is too much to emote like this but I don't care. I heard that the sweet music that I choose for Talia's entrance is playing. So it means she's here. I let a big sigh before I got up where I sit and proceed to the party hall. I saw that Ryugi was escorting Talia to the stage and their both looks perfect for each other. I sit beside my brother while watching Ryugi holding Talia. I hate this feeling, I should not be jealous and I need to accept the fact that Ryugi is now belong to Talia and Ryugi looks at me like his own sister.

"Stop that." My brother Seth mumbled at my ear.

"I can't help it." I said and looked at him.

"No, I mean stop thinking that they are perfect. We both know that Talia is using Ryugi because Ryugi's family is popular." He said.

"I know but we also know that Ryugi is head over heels in love with her." I said.

My brother shakes his head. Yes, you heard it right. Talia is using Ryugi just for money and fame. I don't want to tell it to Ryugi because I don't want him to get hurt.

"Thank you, everyone for coming." I heard Ryugi said that's why I look at him.

"This party is for my beloved girlfriend, Talia. And this is not possible to happen without the help of my precious friend, Cindy." He said and looks at me, that's why all of the visitors look at me.

"Cindy, thank you." He said and smiled at me so I smiled back but I saw that Talia raised one of her eyebrow and glared at me my smile fades away. I just stared at her and ignore her after a few seconds.

"Let's get the party started." Ryugi announced and the music gone wild.

"Let's dance?" my brother ask Mika.

"But, how about Cindy?" Mika asked.

"Oh! I'm fine, don't worry." I said and give them an assuring smile.

"Don't worry I'll dance you later." My brother said.

"Just take your time." I said and then they leave me.

I watch the both them and they look really perfect together. They are smiling and their faces tell that they love each other. I wish that I'll found the right guy for me, just like my brother and Mika. They dance like they are professionals but my brother looks like a swaying stick with a head. I laugh when he almost slipped on the floor, he glared at me but I don' care, haha! The music stops and change into sweet music, they hugged each other and whispering. When I looked at Ryugi and Talia, they're also hugged each other and talking to each other.

I'm jealous but I know that I should not. I was shocked when I saw Ryugi kissed Talia on the forehead and he smiled at her sweetly. I don't know but my feet have their own life and I walked, no, I run away from that place. I found myself crying and there, the rain pours.

Okay, good timing huh?! I stop and walk like I'm on the moon. I'm really jealous but I don't have any rights! F*ck*ing rights!!! I got home without noticing it. There are no one so I walk straight to my room and there I don't control my tears and let them falls down on my face. Why I need to love someone who didn't love me back? Why?! Why I need to get jealous?! Arrgghh!!!

I stared at my cellphone because it is ringing and it is my brother. I didn't answer his call and after it rang I turned it off. I locked my bedroom door and lay at my bed. I'm still wet because of the rain but I don't care. I just cry and cry and cry until I fall asleep.
