Chapter 4

It's been a week since I've got a fever and a week that I don't see Ryugi. I don't have any news from him and I don't have the guts to go to their house just to ask his mother if how is he.

"Hello, Cindy? Are you with me?" my friend Lindsay said.

"I'm sorry." I said and take a sip from my shake.

"You know what, you should visit him." She said.

"You know that I don't have the rights." I said to her and give her my handkerchief.

"You have, you're his friend." She said.

"Ouch! Friend-zoned." I said to her and hold my chest like I'm really hurting.

"Well, that's the truth isn't it? Come, we visit him." She said.

"What? Now?" I asked her.

"Yes, now." She said and pulled me from my chair.

Exactly when we got to the bus station, a bus came. We sit at the back and she talked again about her love life and as a friend of her I listened to her attentively. She tells me everything that made me jealous because I don't have a boyfriend. When we got out a man bumped me from behind.

"Hey." I said but he continued to walk far away from us.

"What happened?" Lindsay asked me.

"He bumped me." I said and when we look for the man he gone.

"Okay, that was weird." Lindsay said and we continue to walk.

When we are at the Kobayashi Gate, I feel a little nervous. A maid saw us and let us in, she knew us because we are always here when Ryugi is not with Talia.

"Cindy, Lindsay!" Mrs. Kobayashi said when she saw us.

"Mrs. Kobayashi." Lindsay and I said in chorus.

"Oh dears, Auntie will do." She said with a smile.

"Auntie, we are here to see Ryugi. Can we see him?" Lindsay asked.

Auntie's face turned sad. We looked at each other and back to Auntie.

"Auntie, what happened?" we asked and we sit with her at the couch.

"Ryugi seemed problematic these past few days. He always skipped meals and leaved early than his father and go home late. We are worried about him." She said.

"Do you know what happened?" I asked.

"No one knows." She said and sobbed.

Lindsay looked at me like asking if I know and I answered her with a silent no.

"Did you know what time he will come home tonight?" I asked.

"No." Auntie answered.

"Don't worry, if I saw him I'll ask him." I said.

"Me too." Lindsay said.

"Thank you girls." She said with a smile.

She offered that we eat dinner with them but we said we will have something to do so they let us go. Until I got home I'm still thinking what happened to Ryugi and then Talia crossed my mind. Maybe they had an argument? Or maybe about Ryugi's business? Well, Ryugi can handle his business easily and his parents never get worried about it. Maybe it is about Talia.
