New town New Emma

Please endure the first 4 chapters, I edited as much as I could but it's still a little crappy.

I sat at the back of my mom's SUV singing and dancing hysterically with my 9year old brother Nick as Victoria Justice's Freak the freak out was blasting through the car stereo

My mom chuckled and looked back at us from the driver's seat with an amused smile, her smile quickly changed to disapproval when she saw Nick kneeling on the car seat and twisting his waist in an attempt to dance while singing in a loud tone

''I screeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaammmmm and shoooouuuuut''

I laughed as i sang with him and and used my hands as pretend guitar.

''Get down Nick'' My mom said sternly but we didnt seem to notice her as we continued singing and dancing....suddenly we heard the music stop.

"Moooooooom!!!!" Nick and i both whined in unison,my mom just rolled her eyes and continued driving.

No doubt Nick and i were huge fans of victorious and Victoria Justice but it was more than that, we were both hyper,finally we were driving away from our old town and life and moving to a new one.

This is my chance to have a normal life like other teens,just the thought of that made me all excited and giddy, that would explain why my little bro and i were shouting like hysterical lunatics.

I mean its obvious he is as excited as i am, its actually been long since we laughed and played around like that since the incident ,all though i knew i couldnt be completely normal since i cant actually get rid of my powers but as long as i had the necklace it was okay,i looked down to see the little red ruby hanging from a silver chain with little brown beads down my neck,i sighed remembering the past events then looked out of the car's opened window,i glanced at the left hand side of the road to see a sign board,boldly written on it was welcome to goldsdale,i inhaled deeply and fell back to the car seat,i relaxed and closed my eyes for a bit.

'' Hey wake up sleepy head'' i heard faintly, i felt someone shake me roughly

''i think she's dead mom''i heard more clearly now

I slowly opened my ears,

''ha ha ha'' i replied dryly to my brother's stupid joke

''oh you re up'',Nick said after he stopped shaking my arm

''we are here,mom says you should hurry, get your bag and come in''

He said before running into the house

I stood up slowly and stretched myself yawning lazily,i walked up to the open car booth and looked into it,my bags staring at me,the bags were just two but they were fairly huge since they contained all of my stuff

''so they took theirs in and left mine in the booth,gee what loving family i have'' i muttered under my breath as i took out the two bags and placed it on the ground then shut the booth close.

Although the bags looked pretty heavy but i was stronger than most girls my age,well actually i was stronger than all girls my age, those i knew of anyway but it was something i had since i was little and i dont think it had anything to do with magic,anyway it wasnt hard for me to grab a bag in each hand and carry them.

This was it,i thought as i walked to the house,this was the normal life i craved for,its time to start afresh Emma, to finally forget the past and look towards the future,so this is goodbye to old weird freakish loner Emma and hello to the new exciting emma,thats who i always was anyway.......
