Dinner with the neighbours

"Wake up already Emma" my mom said shaking me

"What now mom,just let me sleep!"

"Don't talk to me like that young lady,get your lazy ass outta bed and go get dressed!"

"Get dressed?!,where the hell are we going at 6pm? I whined now fully awake,I practically walked home from school, mom couldn't pick me up because she had an 'emergency' which she called to tell me just hours after I had told Meg and Ash to go on without me,I just had a nice refreshing shower and all I wanted was a nice long sleep not nagging from my mom.

"I just realized since we moved in here,we haven't even gone to greet the neighbours"

"Its been a barely a day since we moved in here let's go greet them later "without me,that is" I replied leaning back to lie down in bed

"Rose invited us to dinner,we are going today and you are coming with me" my mom said dragging me out of bed

"Now go get dressed into something that's definitely not your pyjamas and get downstairs" my mom said finally leaving and shut the door.

"Oh come on Honey,there's nothing to sulk about,The Hunters are really nice people" my mom said as we walked to 'my casket'. If only my mom knew,she wouldn't be dragging me to this godforsaken house,I had decided to stay away from anything to do with Brad Hunter but now am going straight to the house of someone who probably wished he could chain saw me to death.

"And you know what?,I heard they have a son about your age and he's a looker too,eh" my mom blabbered winking at me,I just shook my head,she didn't even know anything,my heart is thumping so hard I think they will jump out of my chest and its not out of excitement at all.

Finally,we reached to the door of the huge mansion built just a few feets away from our house,as my mom knocked on the door I wanted nothing more than to disappear into thin air After a few seconds the door opened to reveal a middle-aged man who I guessed was a steward with his corporate white shirt and black plane trousers and red bow tie,he bowed slightly and let us in,my mom smiled at the butler and walked in and I followed,the house was way more beautiful and bigger than ours,it was almost like a palace.

"Sweet crib" I breathed out

"Diana,Such a pleasure to have you" A beautiful blonde woman said smiling at us as she gracefully walked towards us and hugged my mom

"Thanks for inviting us Rose" my mom replied while hugging back,I rolled

It hasn't been long they met and they are already referring to each other by their first names .....

"And you must be Emma" She said smiling sweetly at me

"Nice to meet you Mrs Hunter" I said about to stretch out my hand for a handshake but the overly excited woman pushed me into a choking hug instead.
