We all groaned at the maths teachers remark

I tuned out as the maths teacher rambled on about how disappointed she was in us,I hated maths just as much as I hated waking up at five am in the morning, hated being a confused teenage witch in a school where another powerful teenage witch is hell bent on ruining my life,some flirtatious hottie won't stop winking at me from across the class another cold hottie wants to make my life a living hell and the teachers are all looking for a chance to expel me.

"Emma Mckean" The teacher handed me my maths with a glare I groaned in frustrated at the results of my maths test

Life is a bitch and things couldn't get any worse than this

It was there again,the bile taste at the back of my throat accompanied with the huge lump,I felt by hands trembling under the table

I carried my lunch searching for an empty seat in the busy cafeteria it was hard to find Meg and Ash in there,Since I had left them to fetch a book at the library so they headed out before me. I needed time to think alone anyways and I was cautiously avoiding the boys or any awkward situation where I have to run into Brad or the increasingly annoying Chase.

Just as I found a completely empty table,I heard someone yell my name,it was Meg and Ash waving at me and gesturing me to come over,I stared in horror as Chase,Miley and Blake waved too at the same table as soon as my eyes caught Brad

I looked around frantically looking for an escape route, I futilely hid my face and turned to another direction.

Maybe they'll think they mistakened me for someone else

Another loud menacing yell of 'EMMA!' caused me to look back at Meg,she had her 'don't even think about it' look on.

I sighed as I walked over to the table and quietly sat down in between Meg and Ash exchanging a dry 'Hey' with the boys

"Are you alright?" I looked up to Miley's concern filled eyes

I flashed the sweetest smile I had

"Is it because of us?" He asked with those cute puppy dog eyes

In an attempt to change his demeanor, I took out a sheet of paper from my bag pack and banged it on the table

"I got a C minus" I said wearily,they all stared at me then at the maths test before Meg burst into a fit of laughter

"You got a C minus?" She choked out still laughing, I couldn't stop myself from glaring until she dipped her hand into her bagpack and brought out a sheet of paper,she imitated me by slamming it on the table

"I got a fucking D!" She said now sober

"I got a C" Miley announced like it was such a great achievement taking out his.

"Well I got a B" Ash said smiling as she took out hers

"B+" Blake said coolly taking out his, we all made a 'whoaaaa' sound

We all noticed Brad was quiet since it was his turn

I smirked

"I guess Mr perfection isn't so perfect after all" I sneered
