Nothing but a nightmare

After hours of being lost and going in circle I was in the woods I didn't know how I got there I was just there.

It was there again

The bitter bile which grew at the back of my throat accompanied with the heavy lump,my heart was beating a tatto on my chest. I felt my hands quivering with familiar sense of fear.

I saw a flicker of light up ahead and walked towards it,I hid behind the bushes when I heard chantings,I watched dark cloaked figures going around in circles,they were chanting what I think were spells with lit torches in their hands-which looked more like talons when I looked closer.

I strained my eyes,there was a chubby man in the middle of the circle,he was tied on a stake with a black cloth tied around his mouth. He wasn't struggling or trying to break free just limp and even though his eyes were open he didn't seem conscious,his face and body was battered with fresh Scars,very deep bloody  cuts and claw marks. A weird symbol like a circle with a star inside was drawn on his forehead

He had been subjected to horrific torture.

Another cloaked figure was in the middle and when it raised a scrawny hand,I felt a gush of cold dark air around me and shivered, my eyes turned into a swirl of bright golden yellow and the Ruby on my neck heat him reacting to the unimaginable of dark energy,it was completely dark and sinister.

And for the first time in my life I was actually afraid of death

I woke up sweating and panting heavily

Again

Just when I was about to get out of the bed,I turned to see a silent figure watched me,I screamed in horror and jumped out of the bed before realizing who it was.

"What the hell mom"

"You were screaming again" she said with a worried look as she came to sit beside me

"I had it again,the same dream,same place,same people...it was horrifying" I said in between tears

"Shhhh baby it's just a nightmare" She said wrapping her hands around me and resting my head on her chest.

"What if it's not,what if it's some kind of .......

"Nothing but a nightmare" Mom said firmly as she placed a hand on my head...i felt soothing relief and warmness

"Nothing but a nightmare" I repeated falling slowly back to sleep.

A/N

Very very short chapter and very very very very late update...To all my devoted readers especially Han_jin_hae i want to apologise for taking such a long time updating...i ve been very busy,my life has been super messed up and scattered plus exams and all...anyway again super sorry...i dont know when next i will be updating..i still have exams i plan to take seriously but i will try updating randomly when i can.
