'I guess this is it...' Corey said as we stood next to the moving trucks. I can honestly say I thought I was going to faint then and there.

A simple 'ya' was all I could croak out. H ran his fingers through his hair.
"It's not fair Ryleigh I'm telling you. And I'm gonna call everyday and visit when I can and-" I leaning in a kissed him like it was the last time I would ever see him again.

I wiped away my tears "what am I gonna do without you?" We stood and hugged until it was time to leave. Corey and his mom left in their car and that was the day I vowed to never get close to another boy again. I was fucking hurt.

They don't come back"

I didn't go back into my house straight away. I walked down the street to a near by park until I saw somebody sitting on a bench with their head in there hands...

"Jesse?" He looked up teary eyed.
He slowly turned to look at me and his eye was BLACK.
"Are you okay? What happened"

I sat next to him.
" why the fuck would you care you have a boyfriend so leave"
What?
"No I don't ? Corey wasn't my boyfriend Jesse I was on a date with you. He needed me I'm sorry; but what happened?"

"My old man.. Fuck I know that the kid got stabbed it just wasn't how I planned our date to go"

I was terrified he was going to ask me out again because I realised that I had feelings for Corey and he'd flip if he found out I was dating Jesse after we'd kissed and he'd just moved to Oklahoma. But my fears were about to become a reality.

"Do you want to re do our date? This Friday?" Oh god.
"I'm busy this weekend I have to help my mom with um- shopping"
I cursed silently in my head.
He just chuckled and looked at me.

"What?" I never had anyone laugh when I rejected them before.
"Anyone ever tell you your a bad liar? If you and Corey are together it's fine, honestly,"

" it's complicated" was all I could think of

"I'm listening. Not like I'm going home anyway"
I explained everything to him from the smoking to him leaving.
"Man, kurts a dick. Stay away from him. And in sure if you and Corey are meant to be together he'll come back"

"Yeah your right " I hugged him before heading home.
