Corey's been my best friend for 3 years since I moved to Toronto. He's a bit of a bad boy, doesn't do his homework, turns up late to class, and one time I caught him smoking, but he swore to me it was a one time thing and that it was just a cigarette. So I beloved him because he was there for me and I couldn't lose him.
Oh, and by the way, I'm Ryleigh.

It was Monday, I woke up and got ready to go to school. I usually met corey there at my locker.
"Hey Ryleigh!" I heard him call, I turned around to see him running towards me.
"What's up?"
"Can I ask you something?" He seemed a little upset
"Sure?"
"People have been saying that you and kurt Gallagher have been getting on it, 'that true?"
Kurt Gallagher was Corey's ex- bestfriend. He was so mean. Everyday a different kid would go without lunch money, or end up in a garbage can. That's why Corey doesn't hang around with him anymore, because he's a nice guy, when he's around certain people. Anyway, Kurt's had it out for corey ever since he 'abandoned him' and I always told him I hated him too. So I could understand his confusion.
"No? Why would I do that to you?" I asked, a little quieter so nobody would hear.
"That's what I wanna know...." He didn't sound angry, just hurt.
"He's scum, corey, I'm not even close to speaking to him. Who told you this anyway?"
"It doesn't matter, I believe you, sorry."
"It's okay, don't apologise"
"See you later ryles" and he turned away in a hurry to meet his friends
"Bye" I said, before doing the same.

A/N
so I decided to start fresh with the corey fic.
There's new characters and a new storyline. I'm gonna try to update regularly but sometimes It'll be a while before my next update.
