I woke up to the sunlight blinding me. I groaned and pulled the cover over my head trying to recall
everything that had happened last night.
I trudged downstairs and could hear the faint mumbles of conversation in the kitchen.
"Corey!." I yelled and ran to hug him.
"Riley!"
"What are you doing here?" I asked him laughing a little.
"The doctors said I would be fine by next week and they're discharging me early" it felt like nothing could ruin this moment. I was so happy.
My thoughts were interrupted by my mothers voice
"Ryleigh, why don't you and Corey take a walk outside. I have to make breakfast so you may as well." Her and Corey looked between each other in a way I couldn't quite catch on to.
"Okay" I decided I would ask Corey when we got outside.

"What's going on?" I asked him.
"Nothing" he replied plainly
"Bullshit come on I saw you looking at each other what's going on"
By now I had stopped walking.
"Okay look, you wanna know? I'm not doing so well in school and my mom doesn't like it. She heard about what happened with kurt and insists that-" he stopped and breathed heavily.
"That what"
"That we move to Oklahoma"
This couldn't be happening. My best friend since I could remember. The one that saves me when I need him, leaving. Fucking vanishing into thin air.
"Quit joking aroun-" he cut me off
"Just shutup and kiss me"
"Wh-" his lips crashed against mine and God in heaven knows why but I kissed that boy back. We pulled away breathing heavily.
I looked up at him and he smiled.
"You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that for."
"Thank god you did"
I waved goodbye and stepped inside

"Did he tell you?" My mom asked straight away"
I didn't say anything just sobbed into her.
"Honey, don't worry. Come on let's eat."
"Okay"

A/N:

Wow I FINALLY updated. I am sorry for that but I'll tell you my situation anyway.
Basically my granddad has Alzheimer's and has for a while now and he's going into a care home soon and it's just been a lot of stress on me . Also I have my year 8 end of year exams so it's a lot of revision and stuf but I'm back so that's the main thing thankyou all I love you guys so much <3
