It had only been a few days since Jungkook had barged into Taehyung’s life like a glitter bomb of chaos, and Taehyung was already questioning his life choices. His hideout—once a place of eerie silence, where even a whisper could be heard from across the room was now filled with laughter, bickering, and Jungkook’s nonstop chatter ( that makes zero sense).
It was unbearable but was… oddly entertaining.
Taehyung wasn’t sure which part of his brain was broken to even think that.
Jungkook, on the other hand, was absolutely thriving. He had somehow decided that annoying Taehyung was his new full-time job, and he was very, very dedicated to it. He was full of energy 24/7.
“Why are you here again?” Taehyung muttered, already exhausted as Jungkook waltzed into his office like he owned the place.
Jungkook smirked, plopping down onto Taehyung’s desk. “I was bored.”
“I don’t care.”
“Yeah, but I do,” Jungkook said dramatically, poking at his own dimples. “You frown too much, you know. Have you ever tried smiling? Might fix that scary ‘I’ll kill you’ face of yours.”
Taehyung glared. “I don’t have an ‘I’ll kill you’ face.”
Jungkook snorted. “Babe, that’s literally your default setting.”
Taehyung clenched his jaw. 'Did he just call me babe...ME BABE?!!'
The men standing outside the office door silently placed bets on how long their boss would last before throwing that little thing out the window.
Jungkook, of course, had no fear. He leaned forward, snatching Taehyung’s sunglasses from the desk and slipping them onto his face. He adjusted them with a dramatic flick of his fingers before deepening his voice to mimic Taehyung.
“I’m V,” Jungkook growled in an unnecessarily deep voice. “I’m so scary ha ha ha. I wear black and look sexy but never smile because I’m too cool for that. Fear me.”
One of Taehyung’s men let out a choking sound. Someone else whispered, “Oh, he’s dead.”
