Tae paced the living room, his hands running through his hair as he tried to keep his emotions in check. His lips were pressed in a firm line, but his furrowed brows betrayed the storm brewing inside him...his heart.
The love of his life, jungkook stood near the dinning table, arms crossed defensively, his gaze fixed on Taehyung, his boyfriend.
"You know what, Jeon Jungkook?" Taehyung said, his voice sharp yet controlled. "I'm tired. Fucking tired of being the only one trying to make this relationship work. Do you even realize how distant you have been?"
Jungkook exhaled heavily, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Taehyungie Hyung, I've told you before—many times—my job is demanding. I'm not out there partying or wasting time yeah? I'm working to secure our future."
"And at what cost?" Taehyung snapped, his voice rising slightly. "you barely talk to me anymore, koo. When you are home, you are either on your laptop, computer or too tired to even look at your fucking boyfriend who crave for your attention! Am i...even a priority to you anymore, Jungkookah?"
"Of course you are, tae hyung!" Jungkook's voice raised in frustration. "But I don't have the luxury to sit around and chat when there a deadlines to meet and expectations to fullfill."
"Luxury?" Tae repeated, incredulous. "Is spending time with your boyfriend a luxury now? Huh? Is showing me that I matter to you some sort of privilege I have to .... beg for?"
Jungkook groaned, running a hand down his face. "Why do you always make me the bad guy in these arguments, tae? I'm doing my best and it's still not enough for you?"
"Because you are not listening to me!" Tae shot back, stepping closer. His voice was trembling now., frustration mixing with hurt. "I have tried to be understanding, my love. I've waited. I've told myself it's just a phase, that things will be better. But they are not, koo. They are getting worse."
