Chapter 2- welcome to my new home ?
When I woke up, the wind was slapping me, and I was sure I got whiplash from my hair going back and forth. I tried to look around, to see where and why was I getting a whiplash, but my eyesight was hazy, so all that I could see was a dark rusted brown, with dimly lit, with what I suppose is lanterns ?
Looking over to see where I was, I leant towards the side, until I almost fell out. Closing my eyes tightly, I almost fall, until a calloused hand grips the back of my neck, yanking me back into the what I could see, cart. The hand stayed in my neck, keeping a strong grip, and refraining me from looking at my capturer/savior. Funny isn't it ? I'm sort of thankful for this .. Man for saving me, but at the same time, I'm saying some not so nice words at him, because he did I guess knocked me out, and he did hold my mom in a neck brace.
MOM ! Where is she ? Is she okay ? Wow I ask a lot of questions. Previously I was afraid and confused but now I'm pissed off at this- this- brute ! For taking me and injuring my mom !
"Where the hell am I" I growled at him, yelling over the noise. I knew he heard me, because the grip tightened.
"You're in a place where you'll be support for the owners son, you will never leave but you'll be taken care off, consider us your family" said the gruff voice with a bit of care. Care my butt ! This butt head has a vice grip on my neck and my mom !
"Family ?! You think I want to stay with you ... Butts ! Where's my mom ?!" I yelled, squirming in his grip. It was amazing how loud his sigh was, as I heard it over the wind.
"Your mom is safe, she is at your house and a note has been placed, explaining your place and future" he said it in such a calm voice, it got me even more ticked off; but before I could even mutter a word, we abruptly stopped, causing me to almost fall out, had it not been for his vice grip. I guess I should thank him.
Sure brain.. Why don't we also give him a cookie for kidnapping you ?
Okay okay... That's stupid of me to thank him.
Yanking me out of the cart, I stumble under his grip, as we enter a large panel of metal doors, into what I will honestly say was the biggest facility I've ever seen.
The dull grey ceiling was about 50ft high, making me feel like an ant. The floor was covered with lines on which platforms hovered on, carrying smiling kids, chatting teens and adults with laugh lines creased deep into their faces. Strangely enough they all seemed happy with this .. Prison.
Pushing me forward I glare at the floor until we step on a grey platform too, me stumbling as it starts going up.
Looking to the side, I see a huge room, covered with glass, which leaves nothing to the imagination. The area was definitely a weapon tester, since the place was covered with lasers, tanks and some new technology which I'm sure was being tested. But what I saw made me cringe as I saw a fluorescent pink male cutout thrown of a platform, about the same level as we were going, getting blasted to smithereens, only to be replaced by a screaming woman, pleading for mercy as her blood got splattered all over the glass.
Luckily we pass it soon enough and I see another room with glass in our direction, however this room consisted of teens having a wild party, a few of them were staggering around, obviously drunk, while a sobered couple made out in a corner. Hm, the walls must've been tinted, making those fools unaware of the watchful eyes.
Finally we pass it and see a kids playground, complete with swings and slides... The strangest thing was that the guards acted like perfect parents, probably to brainwash them.
"My sons there, i'll let him enjoy his childhood while he can" says the gruff voice of the vice grip holder. Nodding my head in acknowledgement he sighs before we arrive at a metal door. Looking to my right where he stood, I can barely see his face, but I can make out his grim expression. He must really be sad about his son. However my mind changed as soon as the door opens and I get pushed inside, falling on the floor.
Isn't he just sweet ?
