*Jeremiah's POV*

I walked out of the front door and headed towards the next bus stop. 'Catherine, Catherine, Catherine...', that name...it never stopped echoing in my head since last night. Maybe I should talk to her about it when I see her soon...

*Catherine's POV*

"Where is he?! Jeremiah should be here by now!", I asked anxiously. "Catherine, calm down would you? It's not like he's going to miss the second day of school right?", Astrid said. "I don't know, Astrid. I want to tell him something about last night." "Yeah? And what is it about, m'lady?", someone said behind me. "Jeremiah!", I gasped, startled. "...and what were you going to tell me?" "N-nothing! It's nothing really!", I replied. "We need to talk, Catherine.", he said sternly. "We are talking right now, aren't we?" "That's not what I meant.", he said as he immediately grabbed my hand and led me somewhere away from the other students.

*Jeremiah's POV*

Am I doing the right thing? Forcing her to listen to me? I need to finish this quick and easy. I led Catherine somewhere secluded and quiet. "Jeremiah! What is your problem?! We've been friends for like a day and now you're doing this to me?! Have some respect will you?", Catherine blurted out. I hate seeing her angry...but I need to tell her now. "Catherine..., I have to talk to you about something." "What is it?", she said with her back facing me. "I...honestly...I have been...thinking of you lately. Last night...I couldn't sleep because ---." Fast as lightning, ran toward me and hugged so sweetly and passionately it almost made me want to kiss her.

*Catherine's POV*

"Don't you dare say another word and don't you ever let me go.", I said hugging him tightly. "Catherine..." "Jeremiah, that's what I wanted to tell you. Ever since we met, everything changed. I want you so badly that I couldn't even sleep at night.", I said. "Catherine...I love you."

...did he just say he loves me?

"I love you too, Jeremiah.", I replied without thinking of it.

Catherine and Jeremiah stood there holding each other without thinking of what else is happening in the world. All they know that it was Autumn and the leaves fell like snowflakes on their heads. Most importantly, is that they loved each other and promised never to let go.
