Chapter Seven

*November*

It's been three months since I've been with Jeremiah and things still work out perfectly. Winter is coming soon in just a few weeks. Can't wait for more surprises.

I walked toward school because it was just only 3 blocks away. I passed by the main office and headed towards my locker. I saw Jeremiah talking with someone. Wait! Someone?! I looked again at whoever he was talking to. I wasn't expecting to see...Mary Anne Bells. I thought she was the most quiet girl in the campus. But I was wrong. Now she's flirting with my boyfriend! Unbelievable! I started off toward them, dragging my feet.

*Jeremiah's POV*

"Oh no. Is that Catherine coming?", I asked. "No! No one's there! I thought you're mine now baby?", Mary Anne said. "Mary Anne! Can't you see? Catherine's my girlfriend. I love her and no one else. Let go!", I said. "No, baby. I won't. Don't make me angry, baby. Remember all the time we spent together? Nah! You don't remember because of that stupid Catherine you fell in love with. You're too blind, Jeremiah, too blind to fall in love with ME!", she replied.

"So is this your new hobby? Spending time flirting with someone when you can talk to me? Tell me Jeremiah. How long have you been doing this?", Catherine said sternly. "Catherine...I can explain.", I said. "No, Jeremiah. It's over. You've been keeping secrets that long? You didn't even tell me that you loved someone else! What happened to the promise we both swore?!", Catherine said with tears in her eyes. "Catherine, please don't cry. I'm sorry! Please hear me out!" "Never! I never want to hear from you again!", she said as she left, crying and leaving tears all over the way.

*Catherine's POV*

"And you Mary Anne...", I gazed at her deathly. "...you can have my boyfriend, I mean EX-BOYFRIEND anytime you want! But one day you or maybe both of you will realize your mistakes. Be prepared for that."

I left them. Still crying, I went to the girls washroom and looked for a vacant cubicle and locked myself up.

I shouldn't have fell in love with Jeremiah! I shouldn't have met him in the first place! I wish none of this ever happened. I just want everything back the way it was...
