*Friday, Dismissal Time*
*Catherine's POV*
I was strolling in the school's main hall thinking of nothing but Jeremiah. He said he wouldn't ever let me go. But where is he now?
"Hey Catherine! Where's your boyfriend?!! Did he dump you?! Oh no...how sad! Bwuhahaha!", Joseph Turner called. "He's not my boyfriend! Back off!, I shouted back. "No I won't! You're not the boss of me! So where's your boyfriend now? No one can save you.", he said laughing evilly.
*CRASH*
Everything happened in a blink of an eye. My mind couldn't process things quickly. All I saw was Joseph on the floor and someone standing before him...Jeremiah.
*Jeremiah's POV*
I grabbed Joseph by his collar and smashed him against one of the lockers. "STAY AWAY FROM CATHERINE! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU NEAR HER! BACK OFF!", I screamed at him pushing him harder. "You...*cough*...I...*cough* didn't mean to ---", Joseph choked. "Jeremiah! Please. This is enough! Let him go...", Catherine said. Her sweet words filled my ears. All I can think of was her pleading me to stop.
I gently put Joseph down and he ran away like a little kid. "Catherine...I didn't mean to ---", I said. "Jeremiah, what's wrong with you? You didn't have to do that to Joseph at all. You could've just told him nicely.", she said. I started off towards her and held her head. "I'm sorry Catherine." And I kissed her lips. It was so sweet and passionate that I almost forgot where I was and where I should be going. "I love you Jeremiah.", she whispered. "I love you too.", I replied.
