NIALL

I hadn't seen any of the boys for 3 days. I knew they were spending as much time as possible with Rachel before she left, but I was missing my friends and I was missing Rachel.

I found myself driving past her house a few times just to see if I could catch a glimpse of her but then I realised how creepy that was. There was only about 6 days now until she left and I desperately wanted to talk to her before she went.

I grabbed my phone and started typing in a text.

'Rach, please let me see you before you leave. Please.'

I sent it quickly before I chickened out. I went into the lounge room and set up the playstation and began playing a video game.

Half an hour later I heard a knock on the door. I paused my game and then stood up and went to open the door.

Rachel stood in front of me looking slightly awkward.

"Oh Rachel. Thank you so much for coming over." I said.

"I just came to say goodbye. I think it would be easier if we did this now and then moved on." She said.

I stood and stared at her for a moment.

"I don't want to say goodbye." I whispered.

"Well you should have thought about that before you got a contract drawn up saying that after I left we couldn't have anything else to do with each other."

"I am so sorry, Rachel. I only made the deal thinking that it would be so extreme that they wouldn't honour it, but they did. If I could take it back I would in a second."

"It's fine. I will be fine. I just wanted to say goodbye to you. I have to get back now."

"Wait that's it." I said trying to fight back the tears.

"Niall, we can't be friends anymore. I think it is just easier if we say it now and be done."

I quickly wiped my eye as I felt a tear escape..

"Can you at least come in for a moment. I just want to tell you something."

"Can't you just say it here."

"No I can't because you never know who could be listening."
