Chapter 4

JASON'S POV

      Jason only woke up when he heard the screaming, well, not screaming per say, more like, angry yelling.

      "Ahhhhgggggh!" 

      "Coach Hedge is awake!" Leo yelled, which was really unnecessary. 

Jason looked around and saw Kyra staring at him in shock. Well at least that's better than fear.

Coach Hedge was running around swinging his bat at the gold and yelling "Die!" over and over again.

      "Coach!" Jason yelled. He looked at him with a crazed look in his eyes, Jason was afraid the angry satyr might attack.

      "You're the new kid!" he yelled narrowing his eyes at Jason. He nodded his head. Coach looked around the room to Leo who was watching with a slightly amused expression on his face, Piper, who apparently had slept through the whole episode. How? He didn't know. And finally Kyra.

      "Who's that!" he yelled raising his club again. Kyra took a  step back, hand on a bracelet Jason hadn't noticed she was wearing before. Her eyes widened in fear. 

      "That's Kyra." Leo said, standing up, not wanting Coach Hedge to frighten Kyra more than she already is. "We took her with us when we got you back from Medea." Coach lowered his bat.

      "Oh," he said. "Hi kid!" Kyra meekly waved. Her hand went back on her bracelet.

      "What's going on?" He asked.

      "The extraction squad came and took us to Camp Half-Blood. You totally saved us from the grand Canyon back there." Jason added in order to keep Coach calm.

      "Medea, that witch!" he growled. "So are we in her lair? Why is everything gold?" 

Jason looked around, everything was gold. Leo and Piper's breath caught their throat. Kyra must have already noticed this somehow, he'd have to ask her later.

      "We're not in her lair, err, Coach." Kyra said. "Actually I don't know where we are." She looked around the room.

      "You," he said pointing at Kyra. "You smell like demigod, but not one that I smelt before, you smell very  different, still powerful, but different." Kyra looked uncomfortable.

 Just then the door opened and a pudgy man in a gold nightgown brushing his teeth with a gold toothbrush came in. He froze when he saw the odd looking group and the gold toothbrush fell out of his mouth.

      "Son, Lit?" He called. "Please come out here, there are strange people in the living room!"

   Coach Hedge looked at him once, then back at us, and back at him again. After that he did the obvious thing, he raised his club in the air and shouted, "Die!"

      It took all four of the demigods to restrain Coach Hedge, just then a younger version of the pudgy man came in, also in pajamas, with his sword raised high.

    His eyes surveyed the room and then zeroed in on Jason as if he was the biggest threat. Lit stalked towards him.

      "Hold on!" Piper shouted using her best charmspeak. "This is just a misunderstanding, everything is fine!"

    It didn't really work seeing how Coach Hedge was still yelling.

      "Let me at em! I'll get him! Don't worry I'll protect you!"
