I felt my body being transpoted and when I opened my eyes I was in a big meadow with many different flowers and it was midday. I checked my list again and saw that Vambrance's name was scrathced off. I bit my lip so that I wouldn't cry and just then I heard a rustle in the tall grass. I grabbed a small knife from my bag and pointed it in the direction I heard the noise come from.

"Who's there?"I nervously held my knife with both hands turning in every direction. My amulet glowed and I gasped as a figure jumped out and blackened out the sun for a second. he landed on top of me with his sword to my throat. I closed my eyes waiting for him to end my miserable life but instead he apologized.

"My apologies young maiden." I opened my eyes to see him puttins back his sword and him smiling at me. He had brown spikey hair, had blue eyes and was dressed to blend in with the natural colors of nature. "Ï thought you were the enemy but I guess I'm lucky I found a woman instead." He extended his hand but I didn't take it. I stubbornly got up, picked up my things and started walking away.

"Hey, where are you going to?" I turned halfway. "I'm leaving this place to find shelter and to find a river. Thanks to you, I'm covered in dirt." He had caught up to me. "I think you may need my assistance. Im Terrowin, wrrior of Arda." He pulled out his sword to demosntrate his power and I was obviously not impressed. "I can take care of myself." he laughed. "With that samll knife of yours?" I pulled the knife out and pointed it at him. "Yes. I coud beat you anytime with this."

"Ooh, feisty. I like it." He pushed the knife aside with one finger and got closer to me. He put his finger under my chin. "I'm going to protect you wether you like it or not." He crushed his lips against mine and it was intense. I could tell that he was very passionate. I pulled away about to protest but the grass rustled and he pulled me closer to him.

His eyes narrowed and flickered to me and back to the grass. He contemplated something and then swept me off my feet. "Hold on. This is going to be close." Suddenly a knight came out of nowhere and attacked us. He dodged it swiflty but a part of my dress got torn. He cursed under his breath and he turned halfway towards the forest.

He ran as fast as he could leaving the knight behind. He dodged every branch and looking from where I was, the light shining through his hair made him look attractive... Wait, what? He made his way to a river bed far from where we were. His arm trembled and he was very out if breath. He gently placed me on the ground and fell down to his knees. I gasped and tore another piece of my dress dipping it in the river.

I dabbed it on his forehead and cheeks but I froze when I caught sight of armor. "Not now." He said turning his head to the side. I grabbed his sword and ran to the bushes. I saw Terrowin grab for his sword and when it wasn't there, looking for me.

The knight stepped out of the trees with his sword in his hand. "Hm... Where is that girl that was with you? I would've loved her as a prize for winning but your life will do just as well." He raised his sword high and Terrowin knocked him down by the legs. I took the opportunity and jumped out onto the hand holding the sword, knocking it away.

I pointed at him with the sword while Terrowin regained his balance and took my place. "Who are you an why are you attacking us?" He pointed to me. "She's one hell of a beauty and I could make a lot of money with her." I backed away a bit. He was going to sell me?

"How dare you!" But all the knight did was laugh. He moved his arm making Terrowin lose his balance and I saw a his head hit the ground. The knight stood up and started walking towards me. I was frozen in fear and as he took off his helmet. He was an older man, evil looking and he had a beard.

He laughed menacingly and stopped walking until he was very close to me. "Take off your clothes." He took a step back and started taking off his armor starting with his sleeves and then with the chest. "N-no..." He stopped and grabbed his sword again. "If you don't, then I will."

He place the sword at my chest and pulled down swiftly. The dress tore open and I tried covering myself but to no avail. He pushed me against a tree. "No! Stop! Please stop!" I looked at Terrowin who was still unconscious on the ground. "Tell me your name beautiful."

Tears were already spilling when he asked me that. This was my chance. "Esmerée..." He put his hand behind my waste and pulled me closer to him than I already was. "Esmerée huh? I've got plans for you." He stopped what he was doing and stepped back clutching his heart. I wasn't going to take any chances so the sword he dropped I thrust it deep into his chest.

The air wooshed right out of him and I kicked him into the river. I was hyperventilated and trembling at that point. But I needed to check if Terrowin was still alive so I rushed to him and he was moving a bit. "Terrowin! Can you hear me?" He moaned and touched his head.

He saw me and his eyes widened. "What happened?! Did he...?" I shook my head. He tried standing an I helped him. He took of his shirt revealing his muscles. "Cover yourself." He gave me the shirt and I wiggled into it. His face was red but he felt bad about himself.

I tried to lighten the mood. "I told you I could defend myself." He glared. "He almost raped you! He was going to sell you to other men for their pleasure! This is no time to be joking." I looked down. "I'm sorry. Honestly. I'll just leave I'm a nuisance." He grabbed my hand. "No! Please don't go."

"Why do you even care about me? We only met less than a few hours ago." His blue eyes shimmered. "Your the only girl I've met that's different. You're not a princess waiting to be rescued. It's... Amazing." I shook my head. "And in all the rush, I didn't even get to know your name."

"My name? Oh... My name... It's dangerous for you to know..." He held both my hands. "It doesn't matter! I just want to know." I was about to speak when the memories of Vambrance came to mind. "I... I..." I covered my eyes and started crying. I bet he thinks I'm crazy. I can't do it. Not again. "What's wrong? Are you ok? "

"My name... Is Esmerée." I pushed those feelings aside. I needed to do this. "Esmerée? Why are you crying?" He gasped and his knees gave in. I covered my mouth and looked away. I couldn't watch what was happening. He trembled and stood up. "Esmerée..." He grunted and turned me around.

To my surprise he could still move but just barely. His hands were on my shoulder and his fingers were already turning to stone. "Is this... What you were talking about?" He was breathing heavily. "I'm so sorry..." He pulled me into a hug. "Parting is such sweet sorrow..." He whispered. He was murmuring poetry in my ear until after a while it stopped all together.

His arms turned to dust around me and I picked up his sword. I had to defend myself. I checked the list for the next place. I grabbed a small amount of dust and threw it in the air and I walked into it whispering. "Endor..." Leaving only the pile of what someone was before...
