Amber's P.O.V

"Mom?" I whispered in disbelief. I cant believe she's standing right in front of me with her signature smile that made dark days turn bright.

Tears started to sting the corners of my eyes as she took one more step towards me. "Mom," I said jumping into her open arms. "I missed you so much," I cried shutting my eyes closed to stop the tears from flowing.

As I opened my eyes, she was nowhere to be seen and I was back in my house staring at the seven year old me. I heard a crash coming from the kitchen and saw someone come out. It's her.

I sighed in relief, "Mom thank goodness I thought I lost you," I said walking to her only to realize that she walked right through me.

I looked back and saw the frustration and grief in her expression as hurryingly walked to the seven year old me. I noticed that by the door of my house, was her favorite white suitcase.

She hugged me and said, "Always remember that I love you Amber, okay? Don't forget." She walked towards the door and before she could leave I said, "Mom?"

I watched myself say, "Where are you going?" She looked back and said, "You're a brave girl Amber, you'll do something great for the world." And with that she ran out of the house.

Manifesting into my younger self, my dad walked out of the kitchen. "Where is she?!" he yelled with anger and fury in his voice, threatening hit me. I tensed up at the sound of is voice.

"Where is she Amber?!" he said again but this time his expression softened. "She ran outside," I said with tears daring to escape and my throat closing up. He ran outside in search for my mom leaving me crying alone as the darkness of the night engulfed me.
