Chapter 3 Salad
Amber's P.O.V
"Hey Amber!" Raven says as she walks with us to the cafeteria. "What did you do that made this idiots face look sad?" She said looking at Blake with a confused stare.
"Okay first of all, that's just his face..."
"Hey I'm hot and you know it," he murmured interrupting me but I looked at him with an annoyed look and continued.
"Second of all, he's a freaking genius Raven how can I not constantly ask him for answers?" I said trying to defend myself. "Besides, you do it to." I teased and her face immediately turned red as if it had just dawned on her that I was right.
"I-," she stuttered. "Damn your right." She said with a sigh now looking up at Blake with amusement in her eyes and a grin on her face. He pouted but a smile tugged his lips and he laughed and wrapped an arm around me.
"Well at least Amber is nice enough to buy me cookies," he wishfully says.
"No I will not!" I said letting go of his arm to smack that wishful head of his.
"Yes you will too because you owe me big time," he proclaims getting a cookie from the shelf and placed it on my tray as I roll my eyes. "Right Bash?" He said turning his attention to something behind me. I furrowed my eyebrows together as I turned around to come almost face to face with Bash.
"HOLY JESUS!" I screamed not knowing when Bash magically appeared behind me. 'He's like a friggin ninja!' I mentally screamed.
My sudden outburst got the attention of the cheerleaders who were staring at Bash and Blake like they were candy at a kids candy store.
"Ew," Charlotte, the head cheerleader, and her other little minions glared as they looked at me, then to the amount of food on my plate. I looked down to see what they were starring at and to my realization, I had bought almost enough food for a takeout for a whole family.
Mentally sighing I remembered what exactly is the cause for my sudden cravings. Today just so happened to be the day when I woke up to a Japanese flag right under my butt.
I blame Eve for giving into temptation and eating that friggin apple that she clearly knew not to. Because of her, every woman after her was basically cursed to have pain during labor, and periods that are clearly not wanted by anyone.
So don't blame me for craving two bags of Ranch Doritos, my favorite chips of all time, mashed sweet potatoes, because there so sweet and creamy, a scoop of corn, because there so darn delicious, about 4 chicken legs, fried might I add, and two cookies for me and Blake.
"Ew to you to," I mention looking down at her plate. "Who the hell eats salad every single day, that's all you ever freaking eat, and you don't even use the ranch dressing!"
'HOW CAN SOMEONE EAT LETTUCE BY ITSELF EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!'
"Glad you pay attention to me, maybe you can learn something about being a girl," she paused and then continued, "and I know you like Sky, Amber, why else would you be forcing yourself around him, stay away from my boyfriend," she scowled at me. I looked unfazed on the outside but I was furious in the inside. I hate when people think that guys and girls cant be best friends without anything going on.
"Oh no," Bash sighed because he knows what I'm about to do, and he's right. I step forward and I gave her a glare that could scare away satin, using the most menacing voice I could possibly conjure to yell at her. I may be short for my age with my height being 5'4 but she's even shorter than me maybe being about 5'1.
"Oh I'm sorry, you think I actually care for you?" I said, more like yelled, sarcastically. "Haha no, the only reason I know what you eat is because your boyfriend Sky complains to me about how stupid he thinks you are for eating nothing but salad. And if you're so jealous of me little miss 'I'm so freaking perfect,' maybe you should be paying more attention to me Charlotte because at least I know what Sky likes, and I'm sure as hell that its not you." I glared at her but the fear in her eyes immediately left when Sky walks in the building looking at me with more hatred.
"Oh yeah?" She screams but not loud enough for him to hear us. "Then how come he's screwing me and not you!" 'Ew does she really think I would let Sky kiss me, let alone sleep with me? I'm like his freaking sister.' But I quickly forget that thought because for one, that's gross, and two because I'm still fueled with rage.
Laughing I say, "You think he's screwing you because he likes you? Do you actually think Sky, the schools number one player settled down for a girl like you?" 'Wow she's arrogant.' Not wanting anymore of this I walked away, leaving her and her little minions in shock.
"Damn Amber I didn't think you had it in you to be so scary," Raven proclaims.
"Its not my fault that she brings out the worst in me," I say with resentment in my voice. I hate Charlotte with a burning passion to the point when Sky or Bash has to stop me from throwing myself at her.
"Who brings out the worst in you?" Sky asks walking towards our table.
"Who else," David, another person who knows most of my secrets, said sitting down after Sky. He nodded his head to Charlotte's direction and both Raven and I nodded back a yes.
She glanced over at Sky almost raping him with her eyes blowing a kiss at him before she turned over to me glaring as if she could actually kill someone.
I was just about to say something, but someone walked through the door. He wore a black t-shirt that hugged his toned body with dark blue jeans that clung onto his hips. He smirked as if he ran the school, and his eyes and hair were dark brown.
Everybody's eyes averted to him while he walked past our table into the school hallway, with the assistant principal at his side.
He stopped for a moment and turned his head looking through the cafeteria as if he was searching for someone, until his beautiful chocolate brown eyes met mine and he smiled.
My breath hitched as I sat there like a deer in the headlights. He turned back around and continued to walk as the cafeteria roared back to life.
"Did I just say beautiful?"
