A little something I wrote...
We live in a society where everyone is obsessed with how they are presented, the age of Twitter and Instagram does that, we have a platform where we get to showcase the best versions of ourselves where we use lighting and the perfect angle to capture our beauty. We forget that we only see a slice of a persons life and judge them for having a 'perfect' life but we have to realise that 'perfect' in every sense of the word does not exist and never will exist as everyone is on their own path of accepting themselves as finding yourself and becoming confidence is a long journey and it is a journey that truly never stops as we continue to grow and continue to learn good and bad things about ourselves. So be weary about judging others and be weary about how much negativity you feed into your life. We have one life and what you choose to showcase isn't the important thing, it is the lives you touch in the process. Therefore for humanities sake be kind to a stranger today, compliment somebody, smile at someone because one small effort from you could mean a days better for someone else.
