I just wanna get ideas down on what I did this summer so far...
It's like currently 11:07 PM. I should be like sleeping or something.... Wait, I should just be sleeping. Well, oopsie? Eh its whateves tho.
Anyways... Back to the main thing.
Wednesday, July 1 - July 5, We to Sandbanks ob a camping Trip
On Wednesday, July 15th, my dad's cousin brother came over with his parents and two kids. Daughter (5), Son (10).
Friday, July 17th, Garba for a wedding, and the remainder of my dad's cousin's family joined us (his wife, wife's sister + her family). Two more kids; daughter 7, Son 11.
Sunday, July 19th, was the actual wedding and reception day. It was held all day in the same hall.
Monday, July 20, was the day where all of Friday's guests had to leave unfortunately .
Wednesday, July 22nd, was when we all went to the African Lion Safari (or the Hamilton Zoo as my uncle likes to call it).
Friday, July 24th, was when my uncle decided to go back to his home in Chicago. He took his parents, and his daughter but not his son as his son wanted to stay. My uncle agreed as there wasn't much to do in Chicago and with extended family traveling back and forth often, the boy could go back when ever he wished.
Two days later on Sunday, July 26th, it was the Vst Picnic! I got to see my best friend again after a long time. We spent the whole day together and had lots of fun.
A few days later on the 30th of July, mom's cousins came over to stay for a few days.
Friday July 31st, we had held a mini family gathering at my house for my aunt as it was her last day here before she went back to her home in Chicago.
Saturday August 1st, we went to Niagara Falls and acted like tourists all day.
Sunday August 2nd, we went inside the CN Tower and explored it. It was only semi exciting and it had cost a lot as well. Afterwards, we went to a really expensive restaurant for dinner that had held many different varieties of foods from all over the world (mainly Indian food tho) and it was like a buffet.
Monday August 3rd, was the day when everyone left , My mom's cousins left to go back home and so did my younger cousin (he had felt like he was my second younger brother). It was sad to see him leave as well .
That leads us to today, Tuesday, August 4th, 2015. Today was a lazy day for me because I woke up late and didn't feel like doing anything. I called up my best friend and we talked for a bit until her mom had to use the phone. And then I watched TV until two of my other friends came over at 4:45ish. We watched two movies which ended at 9.
My mom made us dinner half way through the second movie so to repay her, my two friends and I did the dishes for her (and let me tell you, there was a lot of dishes to be done).
Afterwards at around 9:30 when all the dishes were all washed, rinsed and dried, my mom and I went on a walk to drop my friends home. We stopped at my first friend's house to talk to her mom for a bit.
Then, we continued our walk to drop my other friend home. She invited us in but my mom remembered that my brother was at home on his own (that leads to trouble and the house in a mess) so we politely rain-check'd the invitation and quickly made our way home.
At home, my brother was watching comedy videos on youtube. I joined him while my tired mother fell asleep very quickly. Soon after, I got bored of the videos and got ready for bed.
As I got into my bed, I got an idea. I quickly turned to idea into reality and wrote about my day and summer that had passed so far. I shall continue to write in here as my days come to an end everynight, writing every so oftern and trying not to forget about this online journal.
