16. Dorm explanations

Kian's pov

Lilia said that there was two people who wouldn't be afraid of my brother and I.

I don't believe him, everyone is either afraid, jealous, or just hate my family.

Luckily no one knows that Malleus has a younger brother.

A brother who was a late hatchling.

Lilia pointed them out when a commotion started.

I think the older one would be harder to become friends with.

The younger one though seems to be easier. I mean he already has a Neverbeast as a familiar.

I wonder what he's thinking.

Enki's pov

I need to make a list of things to do here.

I'm craving apple pie, brownies, biltong, chocolate chip muffins, shlushies.

Man I really want a shlushie. Do they have those here?

Wait no I'm supposed to be doing over stuff not thinking of delicious items.

I really need to make a list.

Apple pie
Brownies
Biltong
Chocolate chip muffins
Shlushies
Giving a name to my familiar
Finding a way to avoid all overblots
Schoolwork
Try and make at least one friend

I can't think of anything else.

Y/n's pov

"What?"

Ace and Deuce just look at me shocked.

"Hello? Is there anything working in those brain of yours?"

"Told you, they somehow combined their braincells and now they only have one." Enki said while making a list on his phone.

I look over to see what was on it.

"Biltong? Alright I'll see if they have a hunting range here and go hunting. Maybe you should join me so that I can teach you how to get biltong on your own."

"Thank you." Enki said. He then laid his head on my lap under the table to get away from the light.

"Too bright?"

"Yeah, it's hurting my eyes. Why is everything so white? It's blinding."

I don't know how this kid became so sensitive to the elements.

"How did you not get into any dorm when you have the strength like that!?" Ace yelled out.

"I think you need magic for that. Besides Crowley told me to come back to his office later to discuss how Enki and I can participate in class." I said.

"If you both do have magic what dorm do you think you would've been sorted in?" Deuce asked.

"Well that depends on each dorms requirements." I said.

"Three two one." Enki said.

"I'm sure you're familiar with the statues of the Great Seven." Cater said. He was with a boy with green hair and a clover on his cheek. "The dorms are themed after each one."

"You!" Ace yelled.

"Me." Cater said.

"You tricked us into painting those roses!" Grim yelled.

"'Tricked' is such an ugly word. I prefer to say getting help and not wasting MY morning on painting roses." Cater said.

"You still made us do YOUR WORK." Deuce said.
