25. Infirmary

Y/n's pov

I woke up to see a ceiling instead of a sky.

"What happened?"

"Well you were hit by a rose bush while waiting for your friends to get you, you wouldn't wake up. Your poor brother was so worried." A ghost nurse said.

"How long have I been out?"

"A day or two. When your friends arrived they saw your brother shaking you trying to wake you up." The ghost nurse said.

"Why was he shaking me?"

"He couldn't hear your heart beating. It was like your soul left your body leaving behind a vessel. When you came in and listened for your heart we could hear a faint sound." The ghost nurse said.

"What sound?"

"Your heart beating faintly. Try and get more rest and eat healthier so that this doesn't happen again." The ghost nurse said.

"I will."

"Should I call your friends and tell them that your awake?" The ghost nurse asked.

"Before you do I have a question."

"Sure what is it?" The ghost nurse asked.

"Where has my brother been staying while I was out?"

"Oh he's been staying in Diasomnia."

"Hey, sorry to interrupt but I believe I might be sick again." Someone said as they walked in.

"I was expecting you Mr Rosehearts. Please take a seat." The ghost nurse said. "I'll be with you in just a moment."

"Riddle your sick?"

"Well I get pretty easily since childhood so I tend to come to the nurses office often now." Riddle said.

"Then why do you have some scratches and bandages?"

"That day when you came to get Grim I lost control and hurt a lot of people including myself." Riddle said quietly.

"Enki did warn me that it was going to happen. That's why we wanted to get Grim away. If we weren't going to mess with the story then I would've taken you away too."

"Really?"

"You know there's this thing called therapy. Ask Crewel about it. He managed to get my brother and I into the free therapy program at this school."

"Also how did your brother know that I would lose control?"

"He lied at the Unbirthday party. He remembers the whole story of the game. In fact he used that knowledge to freak out Ace, Deuce and Cater. I can't remember if Trey was freaked out as well."

"So how much does he know?"

"Everyone's past, parents, future, present, likes, dislikes. Basically the entire story plot."

"So he knows my past?"

"Yes he does. He also holds an enormous amount of grudges against the headmaster."

"How do you know?"

"Have you ever been the only person around to listen to someone crash out over game characters actions? I lost count at the 50th time."

"That is concerning."

"When I got injured I saw scenes of your past."

"I saw the same, and also scenes of your past."

"I wonder why that happened."

"I don't know."

"And I have a feeling I'm going to have an emotional Enki on my hands soon."
