Your POV
I look to Lauren and follow where her eyes are looking. Just when I thought it couldn't be that bad. It was.

Camila, Lauren's apparent Bae, was cuddled into Austins side. They were laughing and I could Lauren see Lauren clench her jaw. What the hell is mila doing?

I suddenly felt a pain strike in my sides. Lauren's hands were squeezing me angrily.

"Lauren hey hey" I said in a soft tone.

"Calm down" I say grabbing her chin and making eye contact with her.

"Why are you so upset?"

"Because it's been less than a week and she's already moved on" she says and her eyes go glossy.

"You still love her don't you" she nods slowly and I look at her sympathetically.

"Then what are you waiting for? Let's get your girl back" Lauren smiles brightly and I wink.

"Pretend I said something funny and laugh like you would in front of your crush" I whisper into her ear. She laughs and its music to my ears.

"I think it's working because she's looking right at us" Lauren whispers back. I laugh even harder throwing my head back before leaning to her ear again.

"Operation bring camren back is in motion"

There was a silence between us and I notice that I'm still on her lap.

"I should probably get off now. People might get the wrong idea" I say attempting to remove myself.

"Isn't that the plan?" She replies pulling me back to her lap.

"Touché, let us continue"

After about 2 minutes, camila finally fought back.

"Austin you are such a flirt. For a minute there I thought you liked me" I over hear her say.

"Maybe I do" Austin replies.

"I'd be okay with that" she flirts.

"I-I can't do this y/n. I can't compete with that" Lauren stutters.

"Compete with what. A Dorito boy?"

"No. I can't compete with the fact that he can show affection and admiration in public. I can't give that to her. I can't give her a real relationship" she says sadly.

I think for a minute. We need to win this round.........I got it!

"I got a plan." I whisper in her ear.

"I'm gonna get up slowly while holding your hand but you stay seated. When I leave the room. You bite your lip and smile before quickly chasing after me" she nod and I slowly leave her lap as our hands are attached.

I slowly let go ever so dramatically. I pretend to blush and bite my lip. I turn around and bite my nail seductively before leaving the room while swaying my hips.

I hide behind the corner and examine Camila's face. She looked worried. That soon changed to anger as Lauren came after me. I stopped her and pushed her against the wall. She gasped and I held my finger to her lips and shhed her.

"Did it work?" She whispered.

I shrugged and looked out into the room again.

"Excuse me Austin" camila says before walking our way.
