Harrison was riding a bus with his 'friends' on some sort of field trip at school, reading a book most of the time. A hand reached from behind him and snatched his book on mechanical engineering, only turning to see Scott trying to figure out how to read the thing.

"Awww, the fishbone still reads!" He turned to one of the twins who was sitting next to him, Trevor if he was correct, it was kinda hard to tell him and his sister Rebecca apart. "What generation does this kid think he's in?"

He tossed the book back to him, hitting him square in the face and nearly tearing out a few pages. He scolded himself for letting his guard down and giving Scott an open window to humiliate him.

The bus came to a sudden stop, making all the students crash against the seats in front of them. Everyone quickly got up to see some sort of building, Harrison of course, knew this place, it was a genetics lab... He would call it Jurassic park sometimes because you never know when the bad shit is going to happen.

The last time he came here was when he was 10 when his dad dragged him here for a business meet with Gerald, lead geneticist and preferred to be called gobber, he was a friend to the family ever since. He snapped out of his excitement when Fredrick lightly punched him on his right shoulder. "What are you so happy about?"

"I haven't been here in forever! my dad once brought me here when he was on a trip. Even made this..." He pulled his sleeve down to reveal a black watch that had green L.E.Ds to light up the clock.

"Hiccup, you do know this is a genetics lab and not a manufacture building right?"

He looked at the bus door to see Astrid, Rebecca and heather walking towards the group. "Yea...but gobber let me make it out of spare parts."

Nobody questioned it, they only rolled their eyes and walked into the building with the rest of the students. Inside the lobby the teacher told them to wait. Sitting on a chair, Harrison was looking at every detail of the room, remembering the first time he came.

Although the tour was just a whole bunch of lame set-up experiments, not any of the cool classified inventions and mutated animals he got to see with his dad. He was leaning on a safety rail when a flash of white in the corner of his eye, looking to see none other than gobber working by a microscope with a few others around. He started slowing down so he could get behind the others then hopefully sneak off without being undetected. Success. Time to go see toothless.

Opening the metal door slightly he saw a large black figure already running towards the door. Quietly slipping in he Made his way over to the large figure. Last time he checked toothless was made out of a bat, panther, some kind of newt thing, a domestic black cat, a dog, and a lizard with a slight hint of flamethrower."Hey toothless! Long time no see"

The dragon gave him his signature toothless grin while Harrison was hugging him around the stomach. The unofficially named night fury threw him onto his back and flew to the other side of the large enclosure. Harrison just walked back towards the door but toothless kept blocking it.

"Sorry bud, I can't stay, the tour ends at 2:00 and it's already...." He looked down at his watch to see he only had 20 minutes left before they headed back to the bus.".. 1:40"

Toothless crooned sadly and walked over to one of the corners and started looking at Harrison with the big pleading eyes that he hated to see on his best friend. As much as he hated it, he walked out the door and went over to one of the small windows and saw toothless looking at him.

"Kinda hard to leave your friend again isn't it?"

He jumped, quickly tearing his attention to Gobber who was laughing at his reaction. "Best you take the tour rotate back to your friends."

He just nodded and ran off to catch up with the group. When the tour was in his sight he was dragged into a enclosed room and thrown on to the floor. He started rubbing his throbbing head and looked up to see Scott and the twins laughing at him. "Do you really think I wouldn't notice you missing?"

He didn't respond, he tried to get up but the twins held him down. "Let's see..what do we have here.." Scott picked up a small syringe labeled 'Night Fury'

"Night Fury? What the hell is a night fury?"

They all looked at Harrison who looked like he would rather kill himself than be injected with the night fury blood. "Do you know anything?"

He just sat there, too terrified to even think. Scott picked him up by the collar of his hoodie and held the syringe pointed to the pressure point on his neck. "I said.. Do you know anything?"

"It's a project they are working on, that's all I know!"

Satisfied, Scott quickly stabbed the syringe into his right arm and dropped him, all four of them hurrying to catch up with the rest of the group before they left. When they caught up they only had five minutes until the tour ended.

"And that's the final stop on the tour, any questions?" The tour guide asked. A few hands went up, surprisingly even from Astrid and heather. The five minutes felt longer than it should have because he was ether watching his clock or checking his arm. When the bus finally pulled up into the parking lot everyone started rushing in so he waited until everyone else was on, the problem with that was it was hard to find an area with barely anyone around but he will manage. Sitting down in a empty seat in the back, he looked out the window when heather sat next to him. "Why are you here?"

Heather turned her attention from Fredrick on the other side of the bus to him almost instantly. "huh? Oh.. I made a bet with Astrid and the loser had to sit with you."

He just nodded and turned back to the window while heather started looking at something on her phone, the bus started moving. Half-way back to the school heather started tapping his shoulder. "Harrison.."

"Hmm?"

"Why did you sneak away? After Astrid pointed it out Scott and the twins went to go look for you."

"Yea, so he could get to me and punch me.." He scoffed. Turning his attention from the window to his book. If he got the chance to talk smack about Scott without it turning into gossip then he would gladly do it, but sadly this was high school...gossiping was a number one priority.

Heather remained quiet for the rest of the ride, Harrison was usually never upset, he was the normal, everyday, lovable person...then again even that has it's flaws.

When the bus pulled up to the front of the school Harrison waited for everyone else to leave, this time he didn't want to be pushed over. During the last class his arm has been getting itchy, it was almost unbearable by the time school ended.

Running out the door as fast as he could with his backpack in tow, he made his way down to the car rider lane for his mom to pick him up. Like how it usually was, his mom was waiting with the car parked off to the side. Taking his time to hide from his mom's view and flipped Scott off, which quickly turned into a game of chase with Harrison as the Winner when he closed the car door shut, thank god it was Friday.

"Gobber called, said he found you after you snuck off on your field trip to go play with toothless."

He smiled at the mention of his friend, sure he missed him but they would spend every second they could together when they got the chance. "I haven't seen him for five years, of course I would go see him."

Both of them laughed at that, unlike his father, valka accepted almost every decision he made. His dad was always pushing him to follow his footsteps and get interested in politics so he could become major like him or any higher place in the government. After arriving home he immediately went to his room and pulled off his hoodie to check on on his arm, when he pulled it off it was deep purple and even black, it looked like someone threw a whole computer at it. Crap.
