He was checking his grades on his laptop before he went to sleep, he did that at the end of every week.

Math: 90
History: 100
Science: 98
Language arts: 100
Art: 100
P.E: 70
Technology: 100

all he could do was sigh at his p.e grade, if he could change it he would but he was really never the physical type. He shut down the laptop and set it on to the table next to his bed. He didn't feel tired..if anything he felt like he just woke up. He just sat there laying on his bed on what felt like days, occasionally checking his watch to see what time it is. 'Ugh, it's 3:00 in the fucking morning..why the hell am I still awake?' He slapped himself with his pillow. Why couldn't he fall asleep?
-~-~-~

He watched as the sun started shining from behind the buildings out his window. He groaned, he didn't get any fucking sleep all night and his watch was already beeping for him to 'wake up' and go to school. 'Screw it, it's time to get up anyways'

He got up and went over to his bathroom and started up his shower for it to warm up a bit before he got in. He took this as a chance to quickly check on his arm. It wasn't much different than before, it only got a little darker and came up to his shoulder but he was still terrified because he didn't know what to do about it.

After getting out of the shower he just started throwing clothes on. He went over to his dresser and grabbed a pair of jeans, dark grey t-shirt with a white dragon starting at the neck and going down the waist like a tattoo, his dad always hated that shirt. He slipped on a pair of socks and grabbed his laptop, phone, and PSP before going downstairs. He set everything down on the table in the living room and ran to his shoes next to the door. When he made it to the kitchen he could hear the shower from his parents' bedroom being used. The lights blinded him for a few seconds before he was able to actually see anything, he walked over to the pantry and grabbed a oatmeal cookie as a snack and rushed back upstairs to brush his teeth and start violently brushing his shaggy hair.

"HARRISON!"

He flinched, his dad was actually home for once. He ran back down the stairs and tripped on the last step down. "What is your stuff doing on the tab- ARE YOU SERIOUSLY WEARING THAT SHIRT!?!"

"Geez, calm down dad..it's just a shirt not the end of the world." They both glared at each other. He moved over and was able to fit the electronics safely in his backpack with all his notebooks. He went over to the coat rack and grabbed his black and neon green hoodie, not the green one he usually wore. He took his watch and put it on his right wrist, grabbed his things and started walking out to the bus stop, if his dad was home when he got up then he had the choice of either getting in another argument with him or just getting school a few minutes later than he normally would.

As soon as he made it to the stop he froze as soon as he saw Scott, Trevor, and Rebecca already there. "Hey look! The fishbone decided to show up!"

The twins stopped pushing each other and looked at him, their eyes popping out of their skulls a bit. "Woah, is it just me or does he look a lot cooler?"

Both Scott and Rebecca shrugged.Trevor was examining his outfit, making him feel very uncomfortable. "Woah dude..what's up with your eyes?"

Harrison didn't say anything and pulled out his phone and went straight to the camera. Trevor was right, his eyes were more of a bright green instead of the usual emerald shade...freaky shit.

"Okay what the hell did you do Scott??"

Scott didn't say anything. he just stood there frozen until Harrison slapped him across the face. "I DON'T KNOW OKAY!!"

That was enough for everyone to flinch while the bus pulled up next to them. After they sat down Scott started boasting about parties he's been to with the twins joining in from time to time while he was glaring at them. Scott must've felt his eyes burning on his back because he would stop and look back at him. Fredrick and astrid was just watching Scott turn back to see him glaring at them too.

"Danm, what the hell got into him? He's just giving everyone a death stare." Fredrick whispered.

"I don't know but seeing how he is actually upset and how Scott is actually afraid right now it can't be good." She muttered. She looked across the aisle to see heather taking selfies on her phone. "Got any ideas heather?"

She put down the phone and turned to them. "Maybe he finally got tired of Scott's bullcrap and decided to piss him off instead"

They were in the middle of p.e when the school's microphone came on.

"Harrison haddock please come to the front office"

"OOOOOOO, Harrison is a thug!!" David shouted. (That's dagur btw) he was on the other side of the gym so it was kinda hard to hear him over all the laughter from the others. Harrison gladly went into the locker room and changed back to his normal clothes and went down to the office, holding up a peace sign while he walked out the doors.

He was surprised to see his dad there writing on the sign in/out seat. He didn't even get to breathe before he turned around. "Go get your stuff then come back."

He gave him a confused look before heading back to the gym.

"That was quick..what did they want?" Scott laughed.

He just shrugged and headed into the locker room and grabbed his backpack. "I don't know but apparently I'm going somewhere."

They have been driving for about forty minutes now and his dad kept talking about politics again and talking about how 'fun' it was. When they reached the genetics lab Harrison paled. he jumped when the doors unlocked on the car, So many things were going through his head..'shit shit shit shit shit'

When they walked through the doors he felt like he was immediately going to pass out from all the pressure that was sitting on his shoulders.

"There you are Steven, see you brought him this time."

"Don't forget he is my son and not one of your test subjects."

He was freaking out but tried to look as calm as he could and acted like nothing ever happened. 'Shit, they must've found the syringe and thought I used it'

Gobber led them to a room that had 'top secret' stained into the glass window of the door and told him to lay down on one of those lounge chairs that you woul see in a therapist's office.
"Now hold still"

He watched as a scanner came down from the ceiling and started hovering over him for a few minutes before going back up.

"You mind telling me what happened?"

He was confused for a moment until he gestured to the empty night fury syringe on a cart next to them. He sighed. "It was on the trip. I was going back to the tour like you told me to when Scott dragged me into a room and stabbed me with the thing."

He sat up and pulled off his hoodie and pulled up the sleeve of his shirt. All the scientists were looking at it with big eyes, the center of it was all black and was already growing scales and his hand was starting to do the same thing.

"You're lucky you're not dead kid, none of the test subjects survived overnight. We were about to destroy the dna but you ended up living."

Now he was uncontrollably shaking. Ether from the blood or just freaking out over that last sentence. "Can I at least stay with toothless?"

They opened the door to let him out and they walked over to the night fury's enclosure. Once he made it to him he was looking at him with concerned eyes. He knew something wasn't right.
