Day 3
It had rained all day today, filling the air with an earthy fragrance, making everything appear so natural and pure. The pitter patter of the rain works as soft lullaby for many, but for me every drop of rain was a trance.
I can't take my eyes off the heavy drops of the rain, each shape is so unique and different from the other.
The black iris's of my eyes vibrate a little, telling me that I am becoming weaker. I will be unable to experience the joy of having the ability to be so fast that the world or things in it appeared to slow down so much that they appear to be standing frozen on the spot.
Like these drops of rain. They shiver slightly
and the rain becomes what it is to a common human eye, a mere water poured from the sky. My energy is depleting faster than I thought. I can no longer deprive myself of some human blood.I glance at the room where I have spent almost three days completely holed up. The huge balcony with the empty pool was connected to a wide sitting room that was almost barren apart from a small love seat and a coffee table.
The connected bedroom had no furniture apart from my coffin. The shooting hunger pangs that I have been feeling for the past 36 hours come back and I tightly clutch my stomach, waiting for them to subside.
I will not feel better, if I don't get out quenching my thirst. The searing pains are soothing away, I must go down before my condition worsens.
It no longer seems like a good idea having a room 30 stories high now, when I can't even jump and fly without hurting myself.
I twist the door knob ready to walk towards the emergency staircase, which thankfully was located close to the hotel room that I had claimed as my own. Giving a final glance to my coffin, which perfectly matched the dark wooden interiors of this room. It would have felt like home here. The hotel posing as my small tower. If only I had some housekeeping help too.
I start stepping down, the dark staircase grunting, hating that I yet have to be find someone who is alone and doesn't reek of garlic.
I have the sudden urge to spit as I recall the little garlic infused blood which I had taken from the guard, who was guarding this sealed hotel.
Yes, a hotel, which has every room partially furnished, was sealed by the Maharashtra Government. Something related to unlawful property act.
I didn't read much gibberish from the notice posted on the pricey wooden door at its entrance two nights ago. After all what can be a better hideout for "moi" than this extravagantly made hotel, or so I had then thought.
Phew...I have reached 15 stories down, 15 more to go.
I let out a small laugh, recalling the way the guard reacted when he saw me approaching him. His gaping mouth was so priceless.
I had licked both my lips hungrily, when I saw that a man in his early thirties was all alone, guarding an empty hotel. I had thought up a plan earlier to lure a businessman, to be my dinner. This guard was an easy-peasy for me.
I look him directly in the eyes, willing my magnetic pull with full force. He was entranced and not at all scared as I sashayed my way towards him. I saw the hunger look in his eyes and knew he was a pervert. I will be taking down another horrid person, from the face of the earth.
I smile sweetly at him and step up so close that his face is almost submerged in my breasts. I ignore his garlic breath as he opens his mouth gaping in surprise, clearly very excited about what I might offer him. I hold his head in my hands and turn it a little, so that I have an easier excess to his neck and then ...Arghhh the acid taste..I should have stopped then and there, but no, I was so damn hungry that I forced myself to drink a little more.
