Chapter 10 - Frida

When Frida woke up she had a bad taste in the mouth and felt way uncomfortable. She got nearly the shock of her life when she slowly opened her eyes and watched around. She was in a completely unknown bed!
But then Frida's brain was awake too and she remembered that she was in Agnetha's house. And she still wore her green dress. It was a little crumpled now.
Frida let her memories of the party pass before her eyes. Agnetha wearing a beautiful blue dress, Björn being 24 but almost 25 and Benny... Benny in a simple blue t-shirt and black trousers which somehow looked just great and sexy...
Then holes where Frida has been asleep and her dream-which-maybe-was-no-dream.
And then... OMG! Suddenly Frida jumped up with such an energy that the fell immediately on the bed again because her circulatory wasn't that fast. So she just sat laughing hysterically trying to stop it but couldn't. Then she sanked down hard breathing, being hysterical was very exhausting.
After some minutes she decided to go down to look for Agnetha or Björn. Exactly in this moment someone knocked at the door. Frida smiled and opened. It was Agnetha.
"Hej Frida, how are you today?", she asked with a funny smile. Frida giggled, "Great!", she answered jumping up and down. Agnetha laughed but then it turned into a yawn. "Hungry?", she asked next. "Oh yes!", Frida exclaimed and both bursted into laugh.
So Agnetha showed Frida the way down to the kitchen and both sat down. Soon Björn came in and joined the breakfast. "Yummy!", Frida squealed when she saw the blueberryjam. Agnetha laughed, "That's my favourite too", she said. "I'm colouring my tongue", Frida sang and took a big bite. Then also Björn laughed although it sounded very tired. "It's the best thing with blueberryjam", Agnetha agreed smiling. And so they continued breakfast. Frida ate nearly twice as much as Agnetha and so her tongue became much more blue which caused Agnetha eating the jam without bread just with a spoon out of the glass. "That's not fair!", Frida shouted, "Look Björn, she...". But then she was interrupted by the doorbell.
"Oh, that has to be Benny, I invited him yesterday for breakfast", Agnetha said while standing up to open the door. Frida made a funny noise. Agnetha looked at her trying to hold back her laughter and then she saw Frida's pale face and her wide eyes and her opened mouth and couldn't help it, she bursted into laugh. Frida sat and tried to understand the meaning of Agnetha's words. Benny... "Omg", she squealed and jumped up, "It's not... I mean... Really?!" Agnetha could just nod she laughed like hell. Frida totally freaked out. "But my hair and my tongue and..." "Maybe you don't have to show your tongue except you want to kiss...", now Björn understood and laughed too. "Not funny", Frida squealed then she looked down and... "OMG! And I'm still wearing this stupid dress!" "I think he liked it", Björn said between two laughters. Agnetha couldn't say a thing anymore, she just laid on the floor laughing. The doorbell rang again and Björn stood up still laughing and opened the door. Frida stood there and couldn't move, thousand thoughts in her mind, first of all: What would Benny think about her?

Then she heard his soft deep voice asking Björn why he laughed that hard. But Björn couldn't answer and so Benny entered the kitchen, maybe to ask Agnetha. Who was still laying on the floor. Now Benny laughed too just because his friends laughed but then he looked up and saw Frida and the laughter got lost somewhere. "Frida", he mouthed.
As always Frida was caught by his eyes first. But then she felt how his eyes watched her hair and her dress and she became red like a tomato. She has expected that he would burst into laugh or wouldn't look at her anymore or in fact she didn't know what she had expected. But Benny just showed his beautiful smile and sat down on the free chair right beside Frida. Frida tried not to faint when she took her seat too but it wasn't that easy because she could smell his perfume and felt his near and all that made her become very dizzy. But somehow she made it and sat. Benny turned his head to look at her and his face was that near that Frida could count the laughter lines around his eyes. She was close to hyperventilating. Benny smiled and she couldn't do anything against the smile spreading out on her face. But then she remembered her blue tongue and her surely also blue teeth and closed her mouth quickly. Maybe it was time to say something but Frida couldn't find a single word in her mind. So she just kept smiling with closed lips. And so did Benny and his smile made Frida's heart thudding faster.

Maybe they would have sat there for ages just staring at each other but there was a hand waving between them and destroying the moment. "Huhu", Agnetha shouted and giggled, "Earth to the lovebirds!" Frida became red again and maybe there was a small blush on Benny's face too. And somehow he didn't correct Agnetha.
Frida watched her plate carefully and avoided to touch Benny which was very hard because they sat so close that every move could be a touch. "So", Agnetha continued, "What do we want to do today?" Frida raised her head surprised. We? All four together? She also? Agnetha gave her a smile, "I would enjoy a day with you." Benny nodded fast causing Frida's heart to jump and Björn agreed too.
Frida thought about it but actually it wasn't real because she already knew her decision.
Frida gave them all a big smile and said: "I'd love to join you!"
She looked down watching her dress and her bare feet and then she looked at Agnetha. Who nodded, "Of course!", she said with a smile, "And you can use my hairbrush too."
And as Benny reached for the jam and touched her arm more or less by accident she knew that this day would be a great day.
