Bree's POV
Levi has been acting strange around me for the last two weeks. He's not the same lively Levi that I first met a month ago. He no longer wants to cuddle up together when we're on the couch, he tries every excuse to avoid being in the same room as me and the thing that I love most about Levi, his smile seems to have disappeared or dimmed when the boys do manage to make him crack a smile.
I plan on confronting him about it but I can't do it right now because my mam is coming to stay for a few days. I CAN'T WAIT!!

The boys seem to notice my good mood when I walk into the kitchen to grab some toast and a mug of tea.
"Someone is excited for today." Drew comments while playing random cords on his guitar.

"Excited is an understatement." I smile brightly as I drop a tea bag and pour boiling water into my cup.
Beside him at the breakfast table Levi plays with a bowel of cornflakes, not even bothering to eat any of it at all.
"Morning Levi." He gives me a small smile and then continues on his train of thought.

Noticing the other's absences I question Nate about their whereabouts.

"They're gone on a double date with their girlfriends."

Drew places down his guitar and joins me in the kitchen where he then starts to put together his breakfast.

Austin has just started going out with a girl called Bethany a couple of weeks ago. I am literally so jealous of her. She's practically been a model for most of her life and no wonder because she has got the perfect sun kissed tan and long, blonde, wavy hair. I've only met her once when Austin brought her home one day but she seems to be a lovely girl.

The sound of toast popping up in the toaster suddenly catches my attention, it seems to have caught the attention of Drew too because we both end up dashing towards the toaster.
Despite not making it to the toaster in time he lets me have the toast after I gave him the puppy eyes.

After breakfast I pop by Levi's room, where he's on the bedroom floor cradling his bass in his hands.
"Hey Lee Lee." I sit down next to him ungracefully of course which causes me to elbow him somehow in the eye.
"Oh fuck I'm sorry, Jesus Christ Brianna why d-"

"It's fine, it was an accident. His right hand covers his eye. Taking his bass off of him I put it away and crouch down next to him to inspect his injuries.
He blinks his light blue eyes a few times before he properly concentrates them on me.
I place my two hands on either side of his face and tilt his head to get a better look at his injured eye. Thankfully I don't think he'll have a black eye in the morning.
I don't realise that I'm still staring at him and have his face in my hands until he says "Take a picture, it'll last longer."

I quickly drop my hands and my cheeks flush with embarrassment. Well that was awkward.
"Sorry again."

"It's fine Bree, or should I say Brianna?" Oh shit.

"I was hoping that you'ld forget about my slip up, yes before you ask that's my real name but if you start calling me it I will chase you with my hurley." By the grin on his face I can just tell that I'll be getting my old hurley out from under the bed. I give him a death glare to show him I mean business and he quits giggling.
"Are you feeling nervous for today?"

"Not really, my mam is a very easy going/laid back person so I don't think that she'll have any problems with my life here. She trusts me and she knows that I won't do anything stupid. But this trip is secretly about seeing am I actually ready to be living on my own and am I able to take care of myself. She wants me to show her how much I have grown as a person over the last month, but the thing is I don't think I have that much. I'm so dependent on you guys or Bradley for everything and I feel like I have done nothing for myself since I came here. And I have to admit I'm a little bit nervous about introducing her to Bradley too but I know that they'll get on great."

"But you have." he says with a reassuring smile.
"In my opinion you're the most mature person in this apartment even though you're the youngest. You cook us food, you clean the place and at the moment you're the only one with an actual job. I'll say that makes you a very self sufficient, responsible young woman."

"Thanks Lee Lee." I pat him on the shoulder.
"My mam is gonna love you." He smiles while looking down at his crossed feet.

Looking down at my watch I realise that I only have two hours to clean up the place and cook some of the dinner for later.

"Shit we only have two hours left. Levi do you mind helping me out with making some food for later? I don't think I'll get it all done by myself especially with Nate and Austin gone."
He agrees to help me out in my hour of need and we head for the kitchen.

"So what are we gonna be making today Miss. Brianna O' Connor?" Levi asks while he studies the utensils and the ingredients lying out on the kitchen countertop carefully. I glare at him for using my full name but he takes no notice and continues to giggle away.

"Well I thought mam would enjoy having my famous chocolate brownies again after being deprived of them for a month." Levi's eyes lights up at the mention of the brownies.
I recall the first time that I made them for the boys. Most of the tin of brownies were gone under an hour and for the rest of the night I got demands from the guys, especially Nate to make another batch which of course I wasn't gonna do because I couldn't deal with going through the process of making them and then cleaning up afterwards. Thankfully I've got Levi to help me out today.
After giving him his list of tasks we both went off to work, me actually making the brownies and Levi measuring out various ingredients and doing the washing up. Once the brownies were in the oven Levi had already finished with the dishes and had started chopping vegetables.

In no time at all everything was made and were put in huge serving dishes and covered for later. Drew has done such a fantastic job with cleaning up the rest of the apartment that I'm beginning to wonder if he was a housewife in a past life.

I rush over to my room to fix myself up before calling the others to tell them that I'm leaving. However they didn't want to leave me go on my own so Levi accompanied me on the trip to the airport while Drew put the finishing touches to the place.

I hated the waiting, I just couldn't wait any longer. I strummed my fingers against the arm of the chair and nervously tapped my leg on the ground. Every once in a while I would catch Levi looking up from his Kerrang magazine and stealing a look at me, probably getting a little bit annoyed with all tha noise that I'm making.

After a while waiting I could see a familiar woman walking towards us with the biggest smile on her face.

"Mammy!" I sound like a child but I don't give a shit. I jump up and sprint to where she's standing with her arms open wide. We hold each other tightly, never wanting to let go.

" I've missed you so much."

"I missed you too mam." It's only then that I realise that I'm crying so I wipe away my tears with my jacket and turn around to where Levi is standing smiling at the two of us.
"Mam this is Levi Jones, he's one of my roommates."

"It's great to finally meet you Mrs. O' Connor." Levi says politely.

"It's lovely to meet you too Levi, call me Éabha. Brianna has told me a lot about you, good things of course."

"Really?" He looks back at me with a smirk and for teh second time today my cheeks flush. They walk on in front of me chatting away about God knows what. I can just tell that they're going to get on like a house on fire.
