im a very modest person, mostly because short shorts make me uncomfortable and i don't have the 6-pack stomach for crop tops ((lol i have a 2-pack))

but people are saying that God doesn't care about how we dress and it's ok to show skin

um, not really.

God wants us to save ourselves and our bodies for our husbands and wives.

He likes us to dress modestly with decency and propriety, not with elaborate hairstyles, but with good deeds. (1 Timothy 2:9)

also, wearing scandalous clothes could attract people who aren't very nice.

and i found out that most girls who wear cross necklaces are approached less people who will drag you away from God. mostly guys who are looking for sex, are intimidated by this.

im not saying that you have to go out and get one, but if you'd like you can.

i don't even have one, mostly because i go to a private Christian school and at my school, either you're a born again or you know Jesus is real.

im a born again, if any of you were wondering. i first became one when i was in 3rd or 5th grade i can't remember cRY

but a few days ago, i repeated the prayer twice and i feel 100x better because right before the prayer i felt emptiness, and afterwards i felt like an empty gas tank that was just filled with fresh gas.

idk weird example but it works haha

anyways im going off topic- the point is, no matter who influences you to dress like the picture above, remember to stay modest like the girl in the dress.

it doesn't matter what's on the outside, because God only judges the inside.

some of you are probably thinking, if He only judges the inside why does it matter what i wear?

the answer is simple: your body is not your own.

Do you not know your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, within you whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Glorify God in your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

quick prayer: Dear Lord, I pray that you'll help me to stay modest, because this body is not my own. This is your body, and you don't like it when I flaunt your body around. So I pray you'll help me to stay clean for my Husband. In your precious son Jesus' name, amen.

AND I FORGOT, we aren't a supposed to get tattoos, again bc of the fact that this isn't our body. i used to want one until my mom had to say it to me like 10x that it's not good to get tattoos because your permanently scarring his body. ok i love you guys, and i so appreciate all these beautiful reads from my beautiful readers!!
