Why not (chapter 7)

Elsa's P.O.V

After Jack left I couldn't help but smile. I still didn't trust him fully but it's good to know that he somewhat cares.

I decided to go downstairs got some food. Then take a shower and go to bed.

I was woken up by my phone buzzing on my bed side table. It was a text from Jack.

E=Elsa J=Jack

J: Hey Elsa, I was thinking instead of going to school we go do something fun and skip.

E: Hmmm.... Maybe, what did you have in mind.

J: I was thinking skateboarding for a few hours, then coming back to my place. My mom won't be home until later.

E: What about your dad?

J: Oh.... Be bailed out on us when My sister Emma was born.

E: Oh. Sorry that I asked.

J: Nah it's okay, so how about it?

E: Sure, why not!

J: WooHoo! I'll be over in 5 minutes.

E: okay.

I turned off my phone and got out of my bet to go to my closet. I grabbed a white t-shirt that said 'what the hell', black skinny jeans, black converse high tops, a hat, and black lace fingerless gloves that go past my elbows hiding my cuts. Then I ran to my bathroom. (Outfit in media)

I had been in the shower for a few minutes until I herd a knock at my door.

"Yes" I yelled.

"Hay Elsa, it's Jack"

"Hay! Can you give me a minute. I'm in the shower"

"Of course"

"Thanks"

I finished my shower, and up my cloths on then told Jack that he can come in now.

Towel dried my hair leaving it down in tis natural waves. Put on light make up. Then turned to Jack who was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and black converse, with a dark blue and black skateboard in hand.

"You ready now" he said quite annoyed.

"Yes, I'm sort you gave me 5 minutes to get ready there is no way I can take a less than 5 minute shower, get dressed, do my hair, and make up" I said looking annoyed my self.

He chuckled then started to walked out my bedroom door.

I grabbed my ice blue and black skateboard and fallowed him out the front door.

When we got out on the sidewalk I got an idea.

"Last person to the park hast to buy ice cream" I yelled then bolted off on my board.

"HAY" he yelled back then dashed off him self.

He ended up loosing. Good thing that I did win, I had no money on me.

We skated for a little bit and had another competition on who could do the best tricks. I won that one too.

After about an hour of boarding, he bought the ice cream and we sat under a tree on a bench close to the park.

"Jack" I said turning to him.

"Ya"

"What you said last night. Did you really mean it" I asked with an emotionless face.

"If I didn't would I be here with you right now, and if I didn't would I have hugged you last night" he pointed out.

"I guess not, but I was just wondering"

Then he must have saw redness under my gloves because he had a shocked look on his face when he looked at my arms.

"Elsa"

All I did was start to cry, and roll down my gloves, and sobbed more when I did.

Jack pulled me into a hug at comfort me. After a few moments of me crying he told me to look.

He was pulling up his sleeve and it shower new and fresh cuts on his also.

I looked at him in with my eyes still watery.

"And would I have done this to myself if I didn't feel horrible about saying what I did to you last week" he said with tears also in his eyes.

I shook my head, and he pulled me into another hug.

"I told you I wanted to start over, didn't I" he looked at me again releasing the hug.

I whipped my tears and nodded.

"How about we go back to my place now"

"Okay"

We walked back to Jacks house and walked inside.

"So this is it" he said while gesturing to his home.

He grabbed my hand which sent butterflies in my stomach, and pulled me up the stairs.

We walked into a white and dark blue bedroom which I'm guessing was his and sat down on his bed.

I layed down next to him in silence.

"How about we do something fun" he said pulling me off the bed, and caring me to another room with a sigh that said 'game room'

He opened the door with his foot and carried me to the large couch in front of the big TV.

There were beanbags, a air hockey table, an X box 360, play station, wii, and a small mini kitchen in the far corner.

"Call of duty" he asked me.

"Hell ya" I chuckled.

We played for hours. Jack won 6 games and I won 8. It was all ready dark when we finished.

"Movie" he asked.

"Sure"

"What one"

"Surprise me"

He put in the newest terminator movie, which I don't know how he had it, it's still in the theater.

The movie finished and I ended up dosing off with Jack next to me. He positioned us so that he's behind me with his arm around my waist like he's protecting me from something, and my back was up against his stomach. It was a large couch so I had and extra foot between me and the edge of the couch.

I fell asleep with a smile on my face. I think I'm falling for him.
