When I walk back into my house, Ian stands up from where he was sitting on the couch.

"So I looked up their band." He informs me.

"Oh really? Do you like them?"

"Yeah, I guess. The band and music is more for like girls than guys. But I guess there are guys out there too."

I nod. "Yup, they are."

"So. Your boyfriend was pretty nice."

"My boyfriend?" Ian nods. "I don't have a boyfriend. And he isn't." I tell him with a sigh.

"But you wish he were."

"Oh, just like you wish Sadie was your girlfriend?" I snap back.

"Okay, I get it." He raises his hands in defense. "But I can tell you like him."

Then mom walks in. "Who likes who?"

"Okay! I'm going to bed. I've had a long day."

I walk to my room. I hear talking between my mother and brother. Then I hear the front door open and shut. Dad's home.

I close my bedroom door behind me. To my left, is my bed and night stand against the wall. On my right, is a collage of quotes and pictures, and my dresser with my tv on it (and of course other normal things you would see on a dresser). Further down that wall is my closet. On the back wall is my desk pushed to the left wall. There's a window on that wall and the left wall too. My room is a darker purple. And I have blue things throughout my room. Just thought you would want to know.

I set my backpack on the floor and go to my dresser. I pull out athletic shorts and a t-shirt. While I put my clothes on, I look at the time. It's almost ten o' clock. I go to my bed, and get under the blue comforter. When I go to bed, I think about random things. Like popcorn, and sometimes even my day. How crazy is that.. Why was my mom so insistent on having my friends over? Why was she so happy? What was wrong with my brother? Why did my dad get home late? After all those questions run through my mind. I finally shut my mind off and fall asleep.

Waking up was not how I expected. Sadie was in my room, sitting in my desk chair. Watching me, like a creeper. I sit up and rub my eyes.

"Why are you in my room?" I ask through a yawn.

"I'm waking you up." She says, like it's normal to be that creepy at six in the morning.

"No you weren't. You were watching me like a creeper."

She busts out laughing. "I know. I was planning on doing something to you, but you woke up."

"You about gave me a heart attack. Seeing somebody watching you is creepy enough." I get out of bed and walk to my closet. I pull out a pair of jeans, a long sleeve shirt, and my converse. I go to my dresser, pull out socks and under garments.

"Sorry." Sadie says, getting up. "But I had to get you back. But I don't think I have quite yet."

I roll my eyes. "Ok. Whatever you say. I'm gonna go get in the shower."

I walk to my door and go to the bathroom. "Meet ya in the kitchen!" Sadie calls.

I get in the shower and wash my hair and body then hop out. I pull on my clothes, brush my teeth, and put on my normal make-up. I open the bathroom door, plug in my straightener, and shake my hair out of the towel I had it in. I blow dry and straighten my hair, then walk to my room. I take my phone off the charger, check my appearance, grab my bag, and head to the kitchen.

My mom is at the stove cooking scrambled eggs and carrying on a conversation with Sadie. My brother and friend are sitting at the table eating. I walk by them, but notice Ian's hand slowly inching to Sadie's hand on the table.
