(Jakie's pov)
"Okay, so just so we can stop talking about Newt since he's right over there let's change the subject. I need a job I'm getting bored just trying to figure out what I want to do around here. So who do u think I should ask, Alby, Gally or someone else?" I said as I started to stand up. Well let's just say this I don't really need to ask anyone I could honestly wait another day. I only asked because Thomas and Teresa are kind of dating but they only want Newt and I to know right now. "Well I wouldn't ask Gally, I would ask Alby first but if he doesn't say anything I would ask Newt only because he's second in command." Thomas said, and right after he said Newt he smiled and winked at me. "Fine, if you say so." I said in between laughs.
I started to walk away and towards the fire. I was going to go sit by Newt because I couldn't find Alby right away. But then I saw Alby leaning against a tree a little farther away from the fire. I walked over to him and once I got there he smiled and tried to give me a hug but I stepped back and he backed off. "What can I help you with Greenie?" He asked "The name isn't Greenie it's Jakie, and I was wondering when I could get a job around here because I've been here for a month already and I haven't done anything." I said as I leaned onto the tree next to Alby. "I think you should talk to Newt about that. And you know what all the jobs are exactly?" He said
