Nichelle's P.O.V.
I met Ryan a year before , two weeks into the eighth grade , but I talk about that in the prequel because it's a whole other scenario.
It all began the middle of freshman year. When Ryan came back from rehab, he had supposedly changed and become a better person ( hah) reality check ; Ryan came back taller , with more acne scars, and a military buzz cut. Not much has changed he was still a jerk to anyone and everyone, except for a select few girls, guy friends and a few teachers.
Freshman year was the year that changed everything.
Authors Note : and that was only the beginning of the next two years living in terror, that Nichelle never expected to experience in her life. Throughout this book, you will slowly learn that this abuse only progressivly gets worse.
