Once they dropped Yasmin and Kaden back at their hotel. They all went back to the dorm to watch a movie. Joshua and Minghao were feeling a bit tried so they went off to their rooms leaving Vernon and Stella to themselves. 

"I don't want to go wake up early tomorrow" Stella groans leaning into Vernon's shoulder

Vernon laughs and looks over at Stella's unfinished cupcake "are you gonna eat that?"

"I'm complaining about waking up and your only thought is the cupcake?" Stella questions not being able to stop herself from laughing at him

"well it's a waste if you don't eat it" he says to her with a side glance "so...?"

"yeah of course bro, you always eat my leftovers anyway" Stella jokes and he gives her another glare again

"do not"

"do so" she teases back as Vernon grabs the cupcake but she grabs it at same time making them bump heads and making them laugh really hard

"bro you said I could have it" Vernon says through laughter and tries to calm Stella down as she is dying from laugher, her head in his lap, Vernon's hand on her shoulder. He tries to stop himself from playing with her hair, knowing that once he starts he will never stop

"shhh we're gonna wake everyone up" Stella says to him now and Vernon gives her a look

"speak for yourself" he says giggling and looking at her softly

"what's with that look?" Stella says, her head still very much in his lap and looking up at him. She could not stop himself from looking away from him, especially how he was looking at her now, like she was the most important person in his life

Vernon shakes his head trying to compose himself, on how much he can expose of himself to her, so instead he says "why were you crying over me that night?"

Stella's breath hitched in her throat. Stella knew what night he was referring to immediately, he didn't need to specify to her. He was talking about the night her and Namjoon broke up, the night she started crying over a girl that wasn't her. She just wasn't expecting him to bring it up now.

"Hansol, I don't think we should talk about this right now" Stella lightly not breaking eye contact with him and neither did she move away from him. she stayed exactly where she was with him

"and why not? everyone else seems to know but me? if I'm the reason why you and Namjoon broke up I feel like I should know... and its frustrating Stella because I sometimes feel like I don't know anything about you anymore-"

"thats not true-" Stella starts sympathetically touching him arm

Vernon shakes his head now "no, its true, I use to know everything about you, you use to tell me everything and now thats stopped, you don't tell me anything, you block me out, you're so distant with me nowadays I never know what you are thinking and I hate that, cause I should know what you're thinking, I should be the one you tell everything to not everyone else"

"jealous much?" Stella jokes with a smirk trying to lighten the mood

"Soyoon, please" Vernon wasn't in the mood, he just wanted her to be honest with him. And she knew he was being serious since he called her by her Korean name. 

"alright you really want to know?" Stella asks getting up from her spot and sitting directly opposite of him. Vernon nods his head indicating for her to go on "okay, you really want to know why I stopped telling you everything? why I can't be as close to you as much as I would like? why I was crying over over you? why Namjoon and broke up?"
