Stella tried not to let it get to her, tried to erase the conversation she just had with Arin. She had to get ready for her date with Vernon and she had to do in a way that would not be suspicious to the members. but she couldn't help but feeling something was off with Arin and her reaction just now. No, she won't allow Arin or anyone for that matter to ruin tonight. Vernon meant more. 

She had no idea what Vernon had planned for tonight or where he was taking her, making it difficult for her to decide what she was going to wear. She knew that it was just Vernon and that he has seen all versions of her, even at her lowest and most ugliest. he has seen her all gross and sweaty after hours of rehearsals, so she knew that regardless of what she wore Vernon would not mind. But after all it was their first date and it was her Vernon. She wanted to look good, she wanted to look good for him. 

she decided to give him a call. 

"yo" he answers 

"yo, how we dressing?" she asks him 

"dress however you like, I'm not taking you anywhere fancy. just wear something comfy and warm cause it's cold out" he tells her 

"hmm can you give me a hint of what we're doing?" she asks now 

"hmm no" he bluntly replies and Stella groans 

"why not?" 

"cause it's a surprise" he reminds her with a teasing tone "but seriously don't overdress that's the hint" 

"ugh fine" she slouches as she goes over her closest "by the way did Mingyu ask any questions?" 

"about what?" 

"you know... you going with him to buy flowers and telling him that you're going on a date?" 

"he just said I shouldn't have said it in front you" he laughs "but he was a bit suspicious about me buying flowers for my date" 

"you're an idiot, why would you mention that you're going on a date tonight" she says to him disapprovingly 

"cause I wanted someone's opinions on buying flowers cause I've never done it before... wait actually thats a lie" he now says 

"oh so I'm not the first girl you've brought flowers for? consider me hurt" she says with a fake sad tone 

"no you're the only person I've ever brought flowers for but the last time you never got them" Vernon tells her making Stella confused 

"huh? you've lost me, what are you on about?" she questions 

"ahh don't worry about that, it's not important" he now says brushing it off 

"what no! tell me please" she says impatiently 

"shouldn't you be getting ready" he says trying to make her forget what he just brought up 

"it won't take me that long! now tell me"

"ahh okay well it was over a month ago, I'm pretty sure it was the night Namjoon cancelled on you for a date and Cheol messaged all of us that you were pretty upset and asked where I was and that I should come, anyway on the way to yours I saw someone selling lilies and I know they're your favourite kind of flower so I brought them in hopes that it would make you happy but by the time I got to yours I think jeonghan came and you guys went out to the market" Vernon explains and Stella found herself lost for words "Stell, you still there?"
