I woke up early that morning. I got everything that I needed. I got dressed and walked downstairs. I saw Katelynne. "See you later in life. Never forget about me." I said.
"I won't you are the best daughter I will ever have. Other then Cope, but she has time." She said. "I got you something." She handed me car keys. "For your long drive."
"Thank you so much Katelynne." I said. I hugged her. I walked out to the car and but my suitcases in the car. Before I hot into the car, i waved goodbye. I got in the car and went to my grandparents house.

After about a 4 hour drive, I managed to get there. I managed to get to my grandparents house in Bakersfield, California. I pulled up in their driveway. I got out and knocked on their door. My grandma opened up. "Hi grandma." I said.
"Raven." She said. She hugged me and I went to get my stiff out of the car. "Who gave you the car?"
"Katelynne." I said. "I should have just came here. Never should of gone to Kellin."
"It's alright. You are here now." She said.
I walked into my bedroom and settled in.

After I was done, i walked downstairs. "You need any help?" I asked.
"Yes please." My grandpa said. I walked over to him and helped him sort out his papers for his job. During the process, the doorbell rang. I got up and shouted "I GOT IT!" I walked to the door and opened it. It was Angel and Ava. "Hey guys. What are you doing here?"
"Why did you leave?" Ava asked.
"I told you." I said. I turned around and went outside. "I can't stand looking at Kellin after he hit me. I will come back. It will just be when I am eighteen and I am a legal adult. Trust me this is the best for me."
"What am I going to do without you?" Angel said crying almost.
"Aw. Wifey, you will always have me. I will visit you if I can. I will text you and call you and FaceTime you. But you have to trust me. This is the best for me." I said to her. "I have to eat. I will talk to you guys later."
They nodded and left. I walked back inside. I went to the kitchen and saw my grandparents. "Grandma?" I said.
"Yes?" She replied.
"Did I do the right thing and came here? I know that you missed me and everything, but I feel like I did the wrong thing." I said.
"How about this. You spend one month with me and see if you still feel like this. If you do, then go back to Kellin and your friends. If you don't, then stay until your eighteen." She said.
"Thanks grandma." I said.
"Now eat." She said. I looked at my food and took a few bites. "Raven? What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I am just not that hungry." I said. "And tomorrow I am going to a thing. Is that okay?"
"Yeah. You might want to get some rest." She said. I nodded and walked upstairs.
I got ready for bed and went to sleep.

----TWO AND A HALF YEARS LATER----

It's been two and a half since I left Kellin and moved into my grandparents. I haven't really changed. My hair is a different color. It is now a silver with a tint of blue. It has been this color for pretty much the whole two and a half years.

I woke up around seven in the morning. I shot up from my bed. I was breathing heavy. "Oh my gawd. I was just a dream." I got out of bed and went to get ready. I put on my light ripped jeans, a t-shirt that says WHY NOT on it, my grey converse and a bracelet. I grabbed my handbag/purse and grabbed my keys, phone and wallet in it. I put my hair up in a messy ponytail. I grabbed my guitar and walked downstairs and saw my grandma. "I'm leaving." I said.
"Okay. Have a good day." She said. She looked worried.
"Grandma? What's wrong?" I said.
"Kellin and Katelynne." She said.
"Thats it." I said. I stormed out of the house and got in my car. I drove to Kellin's house. I pulled up and walked in the house. "KELLIN!" I screamed angrily.
"Raven." He said followed by everyone else.
"WHY ARE YOU WORRYING MY GRANDMA!?" I shouted.
"Raven. Why did you go there?" He asked.
"REALLY?! THINK ABOUT KELLIN! THINK ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE I LEFT! THINK ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED THE LAST TIME YOU SAW ME!" I shouted.
He thought about it. He looked down. "I don't remember." He said quietly.
"REALLY!? YOU FUCKING HIT ME! YOU HIT ME BECAUSE I WAS OUT WITH FRIENDS! I AM BEING SUFFOCATED BY YOU! NO ONE ELSE! I NEEDED FUN! I LEFT BECAUSE I COULDN'T LOOK AT YOU AFTER YOU DID THAT! I AM DONE WITH YOU KELLIN! YOU WILL NEVER BE MY DAD SO JUST GO BACK ON WARPED! IF I DIDN'T NEED YOU THEN I DON'T NEED YOU NOW!" I shouted. I walked back to my car and by the time he got out, I was already half way down the road.
I drove down to a nearby park by the beach. I grabbed my guitar and walked toward a dock. I sat down and got my guitar out. I started strumming and then sang:
Every day is all the same
Like no matter what the reason is the seasons never change
I think of all the time I spend
Drifting far away and zoning out as I'm clocking in
