Your Perspective

After your calming shower, you dried off and slipped John's clothes on. They were kind of big on you, but they were very warm and comfortable. You slipped on the sweatshirt and took your wet hair out of the towel before stepping out of the bathroom.
"Sorry if I waisted all your hot/cold water. Showers help me calm dow-"
"Dave, I am not a homosexual..." John muttered towards the door. Your eyes widened and you approached John's side.
"Dave?" You whispered, looking up at the shaded blonde. He glanced at you and frowned when he saw your choice of attire.
"We broke up yesterday and you've already moved on, huh?" He said in a surprisingly soft tone. You froze and looked at him, dumbfounded. He scoffed and looked at John before walking away from the doorway and disappearing from sight.
"Dave, I-It's not what it looks like!" You reached for him as you stepped outside the door, only to see him skating away on his skateboard. You sighed and sniffled as you stepped back inside. John frowned at you and closed the door behind you.
"It's okay, ____... He just needs to calm down and take a breather..." He said hesitantly. He wrapped his arms around your shoulders comfortingly and you reached to push them away, but you ended up leaning into him instead. You couldn't deny any form of comfort at this point. "Come on, let's sit down..." He lead you to the couch with his head still covered in cake.
"You need to take a shower, John. You're getting cake on me." You giggled a little. He chuckled along and brushed the cake out of your hair with his fingers.
"Alright, I'll go take a shower. You lay down and watch tv. I have some Nick Cage movies on DVR."
"No way. I am not watching another Nick Cage movie." You laughed with another sniffle.
"Why not? Nick Cage is the best!"
"Sure he is, Egdork. Just go take a shower."
"Okay, okay. I'm going." He smiled and let go of you slowly before walking into the bathroom. You sighed and plopped down on the couch as Dad Egbert entered the room with a stack of pancakes that had candles on them. He motioned that he warmed them up for you. You smiled at him and nodded a "thank you" before you took the plate from him gratefully. He handed you a fork and walked back into the kitchen where you assumed he was making more cakes. You just flicked on the tv and laid back as you watched {insert favorite anime} comfortably.

Dave's Perspective

You skated away from John's house  quickly with your usual pokerface, even though you were dying on the inside. Your ex-girlfriend and one of your major crushes were now together (or so you thought) and it was the worst feeling in the world. You thought about it on the way home and was close to tears when you thought of a solution. You turned down an alley near your apartment building and followed a red, glowing light from the other side. A "monstor" cloaked in a red robe sat in the shadows with a suitcase.
"Caliborn." You greeted plainly. You hopped off your skateboard when you stood in front of him.
"DAVE." He growled a little but kept himself steady. "WHAT CAN I DO YOU FOR?"
"You got the stuff?"
"YEAH, I GOT THE STUFF. YOU GOT THE PAY?" You handed him a couple pieces of candy, which he marveled over from beneath his cloak. "VERY WELL." He handed you the suitcase, which you opened to reveal the thing that could solve all your problems. The thing that could make it all better. That could distract you from the very problems you ran away from.

The Trickster-Pop.

((A/N: DUN DUN DUUUUUUN. What's he gonna do with it? NO ONE KNOWWWWS!! (Except for me ;3)
Sorry this chapter was short. I just thought this was the perfect place to leave it off. I've been at camp this week and that's why I haven't been around that much, but I'm planning on updating more. Hopefully. Just keep an eye out! See you later, kittens! <3
