Chapter 8

"Hey Niki" greeted i Nikita when i saw her name on my phone.

"Hey" said she. She didnt sound good.

"Whats wrong?" Asked i worried

"Nothing's wrong. So you called me a few hours back. Um why?" Asked she.

"Uh i told you. Campos is Braga. Didnt you lisen to me?" Asked i .

"Um no i didnt. D'you guys have a plan? Or need anything?" Asked she. I didnt like how she sounds.

"Nikita are you ok? You dont sound ok" said i worried.

"Michael came!" Said she

"WHAT!?!? WHERE?" Yelled i shocked

"At our place. He knows Alex works with us. " said she and i start panicing. My sister's in danger.

"Oh my god!! Nikita does Alex knows. We have to tell her. She's in danger." Said i scared

"No we cant tell her its dangerous. Michael wants from me to do a job or else he'll tell Amanda about Alex" said she . Her voice looked emotion-less.

"What job? Screw Braga ill help you" said i

  "Im finishing this job. Im in Russia" said she

"What? Russia?" Asked i ahocked

"Yeah Jade. Look i dont have much time. I just called to say to you to be careful, and im sorry im not there to help you" said she

"No no its ok ." Said i

"Look i have to go. Please be careful" said she

"Niki you too" said i scared. I could se her mentally smiling and nodding. Than she hung up.

"Is everything alright?" Someone asked behind me making me jump. I turned around. It was Brian.

"Uh um yeah. Im fine" said i kinda lost.

"Than why are you crying?" Asked he again. I touched my check and my thumb got wet. I hadnt realised that i was crying till now.

"Um no biggie" said i putting a fake smile.

"So are you guys ready to leave?" Asked i changing the subject.

"Yeah  Dom is waiting outside with Mia" said he and i nodded. I took my gun and went outside followed by Brian.

"Hey" said Mia to me. I turned around. "Be careful" said she giving me a smile. I smiled back.

"Always" said i and got inside Brians car in the passenger seat.

We drove to Mexico. We parked our cars outside the city and waited for Gisele.

Brian and i were sitting at the hood of his car, while Dom went to talk to Gisele, which showed up on time.

Than Dom came.

"You know, i always wanted to go in Mexico, but not to kill a drug lord" said i making Dom and Brian chuckle.

"So this is where my jurisdiction ends." Said Brian.

"And this is where mine begins." Said Dom.

We got in the car and drove at the address that Gisele gave us.
It was a church. We got inside from the back door and we saw Braga praying on his knees.

"You ain't forgiven." Said i pointing a gun at him. Dom and Brian did the same.
Braga turned around facing us

"You want to arrest me?" Asked he raising his eyebrow.

"No, we're beyond that.You can't buy your way out of this one." Said Dom

"You and me. . .You and me,we're not so different.You're no hero." Said Braga grining.

"You're right.And that's why you're going back across the border." Said Dom and i looked at him proud.
Brian put his handcuffs and he got up.

"Fenix is mine" said Dom to us. i nodded.

"You got it" said Brian.

We set Braga on Brians car in the passenger sit , and i set on the back seat, Brian driving the car.

He start driving going out of the city.

"You know where you going? You wanna borrow my GPS?" Said Braga chuckling.

"Where are your boys? Are they going to show up or what?" Asked Brian. I was looking behind me when 10-15 cars showed up.

"Shit" cursed i

"Careful what you wish for" said Braga laughing.

"Well at least they wont shoot us" said i still looking behind me when i saw a guy point a gun at us.

"Shit" cursed i again ducking. And the start shooting making Braga scream like a girl. Hilarious.

"I take back what i said" said i shooting back at them. After a few minutes they stopped shooting but i didnt. I shoot a few cars at the tires.

"Dom, head to the tunnel.Let's use the tunnel." Said Brian throughthe radio.

I was still hangig out of the window shooting at Bragas people.

"Jade get in now." Said Brian and i did as i was told.

"You even know where the tunnels are?" Asked Braga a little scared.

"Yeah i think so" said Brian.

We entered the tunnel and Brian speed up. It was a fricking maze and we had no idea where to go.

"Do you even know where you're going?" Asked Braga laughing. I cant stand him anymore. I hit him in the head with the back of my gun.

"Thank you" said Brian making me chuckle.

I turned around and i didnt see Fenix. But i saw Michael. Oh shittt, Michel again. I was about to speak when a car aproched us making us roll a few times and than the car stopped upside down.
Pain was all i could think right now. I forced myself to open my eyes, took a deap breath and kicked the door. Than i felt a pair of arm dragging me out and holding me close. I thought it was Brian but then i looked a few meters away Fenix was kicking Brian.
I looked behind me and it was ,, Joe??

I panicked and forced myself to move. I walked a few steps and fell on the grownd.

"Hey easy there cutie" said he smirking helping me up.i gasped  in pain and he sat me down again.

Than i saw 2 cars coming in high speed. One of them went i Fenix direction  making him a sanduich between two cars . From the other came Nikita.

"Jade you ok?" Asked she worried coming next to me.

"What are you doing? Michael is here" said i in pain

"I know ill explain you later" said she helping me up. joe helped me too and i set on Nikitas car.

"What about Brian and Dom?" Asked i

"Well be fine" said Dom giving me a smile.

"But.." Said i but Nikita interupted me.

"They'll be fine" said she starting the car and driving away. I was looking out of the window trying to distract myself from the pain i was in. The key word: TRYING.
