Shattered Ice

Chapter 9

Gray POV:

It's dark and I'm all alone, I can hear Lucy crying but she'd no where in sight. Am I dreaming? If I am then I wanna wake up! I wanna see Lucy. I can feel someone touching me but again no one is around, Lucy's perfume lurks in the cold air. I wanna wake up, please wake me up!

Lucy POV:

I spent each and every night by Gray's side, I slept on his chest and never failed to put on that sweet perfume that he likes so much. Tonight was weird though, he was moving in his deep slumber. It was almost like he was trapped and was trying to awaken. I started to cry a little and then I felt his arms tighten around my body. He knew I was with him but he's still asleep? I saw his eyelids twitching as if he's really trying to open them and my hopes rose faster than ever. After what seemed like an eternity I saw his eyes flutter open but something was different. "Gray, your eyes?!" he turned to the sound of my voice and worriedly said "I can't see!" I shot up and started screaming for help and it seemed like the whole damn guild heard because hundreds of people started pouring into the room. They all saw that Gray was awake and healthy, but then calmed down quickly when someone else noticed that his eyes had a pale film over them that usually indicates blindness. Everyone was speechless, it was literally so quiet that you could here a pin drop.

Natsu POV: 

I sighed "Gray what happened to you man? Maybe we can fix this" after I said that everyone gave me a weird look and then nodded. Gray shrugs and says that he doesn't remember  but I know he does, I'll have to talk to him alone. I came out of my thoughts and looked up to see MY Lucy kissing him, I was pretty sure before that I didn't wanna be with her but I only lied to myself. I thought they were over anyway.....

A/N: Soooooo Gray is blind and Lucy is taking him back and Natsu has unresolved feelings for Lucy, my oh my
