...

"Have you gone on to betray us?"

A deafening silence overwhelmed the discussion.. My words are driven toward Kuon who slowly turned his head toward me. For a split second, his eyes twitched. But he acknowledged it and rose from the ground. A creeping simper escaped from his face.

"That's a heavy accusation, Ayanokouji." He said.

During the first conceded goal, Kuon made it easy for Keisuke to steal the ball and played a direct counter with his brother. During the second, he misplaced a slow driven pass to Isagi who was still in defense.

Since the start of the second half, We've been pulled to the ground after conceding two goals. Both being tied toward Kuon.

Kuon awaited my response, slightly agitated. To him, I'm speaking nonsensical but rather out of habit of blaming him for the goals he conceded. It was understandable, I bluntly said those words without much coverage.

Because of that, the others eyed me with skepticism. But rather than dismiss my claim, they believed I had more to share. And with that, I'm able to confront Kuon without holding back.

"Kuon... yesterday, you were out after curfew in the cafeteria, right?"

"Yes... I'm sure you are there for the same reason— to grab a late snack?"

Based on his alibi, he didn't do anything bad. If anything, people can say the same about me as I visited the cafeteria past curfew.

"When I arrived, you were with someone."

When I made myself known at the cafeteria, Kuon unexpectedly showed himself in front of me. He confronted me and made small talk, probably to gauge my reason for being there. I tried to feign ignorance, by quickly moving out of his way.

He, however, remained static. He moved slightly whenever I took a stride forward towards the cafeteria entrance. Almost as if he refused to let me enter or see what had transpired moments before.

But I felt I saw a person's silhouette leaving the cafeteria.

Despite his best efforts, I'm able to capture the moment someone fled the scene in a hurry, and to avoid unwanted attention.

"Are you certain? That there was someone there besides me?" Kuon said, a sweat forming on his cheek, growing timid by the minute.

"Yes, I'm certain. After I placed the pieces together."

Before the meeting associated with Team Z, Kuon took longer than usual to leave the shower room. Almost missing the discussion entirely. His reason being he had to come up with a name for our new formation. The meeting took a plentiful amount of time to discuss, watch and analyze the opponents match videos.

During that time, anybody could have slipped away either to go into the restroom or head straight towards the cafeteria. Kuon went for the latter, but not for predictable reasons.

It was the perfect opportunity for him to hold his own meeting, probably with someone, in this case the enemy, to form an alliance. He managed to remain inconspicuous as others were focused on the meeting.

Whatever information or data he shared with Team W, would be detrimental to Team Z. That includes sabotaging our chances of winning. He did it in hopes of the other party to accept his proposition.

Fast forward after the meeting, he reached out to them past curfew probably to receive confirmation whenever they're in on the idea.

Which brings us into this match, currently in progress.
