--Observation Room--

--3rd person POV--

||I'm here to end a king's parade.|| The sound came from one of monitors being filmed.

“It looks like Ayanokouji-kun has made it 1-1 against team X. Now, the tension are quite high. Isn't it?” a sweet voice echoed through the observation room. She spoked towards the lone man sitting and observing the match played Infront of him.

“Was this also a prediction of yours? Mr. Ego?” she said.

“No.... It ain't Ms. Anri. I, myself won't know how the games are played after this. I'm not God.”

Ego rebutted. His voice ringed the room. Signalling, that only both of them has access to this room. Toning down Anri's question. Casually, as he watch the game running.

“Wha?! You didn't have to sound rude. I've only thought of that as you have fixated their minds on the whole "formation thing",” Anri remark, writing out several notes on the subject.

“The game had only begun, there's no rush in finding their answer. Let those guinea pigs handle their stuff. They'll soon figured it out later down the road,” Ego explained.

“Fine.... But with that goal, then team Z will be fixated on formations. Correct?” she ask, only to be answered:

“Ms. Anri.... Were you born upside down?”

“wha— wait... Hey—”

Her sentence were interrupted by Ego, as he explained:

“Goals don't shape formation.... That logic doesn't exist. Formations are created on the "weapons" those players process. Rather it being good at dribbling, good at passing, or such. Goals isn't the point on why players played by strategies.”

“Wait.... Then, how do you explain team X's situation?”Anri ask, curious on the matter.

“That goal was an opener for team X to realise their well being.... It simply means that they matured from the chicken play they did before,” he continued. “Just because Ayanokouji scored a goal, doesn't mean team Z will change. They may still play by their own ways and rattle around the field like guinea pigs they are.”

However! What these two have done, is leaving an impact on their team.... Taking the role of a person that charges first into the battlefield.... Becoming a blueprint on their ways of playing.... It sticks onto the team and it'll be glued tightly until it no longer sticks. Ever heard of the said quote; "There's more rewards in leading the crowd, than pleasing it"? That's the foundation of what Barō and Ayanokouji has created....” he finished.

“I see.... So both Barō-kun and Ayanokouji-kun has become the "foundation" that will inspire their team.... Becoming an image, of success onto them. With that, they will play a style formulating around those two,” Anri said, jolting down a writing board with the said explanation.

“Your catch on to it pretty fast, Ms. Anri. Looks like you weren't born on the wrong end.”

“You.... But still, it requires a talented individual to hold the team together.... I wonder, where did you find them? Like Ayanokouji-kun,” Anri inquire.

“You've taken quite a liking on Ayanokouji a lot, Ms. Anri. Well.... so do I. Ayanokouji's an interesting specimen. I've scouted and analysis over more than 300 players from different schools.... Only choosing the best 300. However.... Only one individual has gone through without me knowing anything about that said person,” Ego mentioned.

“W-wait! I'm not fixat— hold on.... What did you mean, by that last part?” Anri ask.

“Its's the person your fixated on. Ayanokouji. I've never seen him play before. Not in Mickey mouse tournaments.... Not overseas.... He has simply applied as a "substitution".” Ego answered.
