Unrealistic expectations for hope can often led up to disappointment,

That naivety so often happened when they believe that good can fall over their head without doing the bare minimum,

Frankly, so many of us always and will follow this path... And continue to regret ever fixing themselves.

•••

Following our previous attempt in attacking Team Y. We've managed to grab the lead with two goals against them. But we're drunk by our own efforts, we'd now be close to conceding a goal.

Ōkawa, with the ball along with the other Team Y members, including Niko, all ran across their own half performing a deadly counter-attack against Team Z.

What they want now is an equalizer... Even when they're on the brink of elimination, they all simultaneously in their heads agreed to at least bring Team Z with them. (1)

I knew I wanted to do something. So I ran at a speed of 32 miles per hour. (2) No one saw me do it except maybe Bachira. Everyone else had their eyes glued to the counter-attack .

In the very last minute of the game... Had all of them decided to draw.

There weren't too many players to back up the defense because many of them were on the attack left so much room for Team Y to run past through the lines.

Even with one or two players guarding our half. Team Y took their opportunity and played a one-two pass amongst themselves.

Team Z would've been done for....

“For fuckin' real... Stop 'em!!”

.

.

.

“Pull back! Pull baaaack!!”

.

.

.

“Shit... We don't have enough people!! We can't defend like this...!”

.

.

.

“Someone fucking stop them—”

It'd be over if Niko made it in...

However...

“It's always Ōkawa, Niko. He smells like a goal more than anyone.”

Isagi managed to intercept the ball just inches before it landed on Ōkawa's feet. If he hadn't stopped the ball. I would've.

Niko is someone that possesses a strong creativity. He'd managed to see through our ploy, thus, he was the most dangerous on the field.

Even now, he had every right intention to shoot the ball against Iemon. But he opted for the safest route. Yet, it saved us instead.

If he had shot instead, it would've been a goal that drew both teams and definitely kicked all of us out of Blue Lock. But his expectations were high, so he made that mistake.

Niko isn't a realist. He only dug his own grave.

At the critical moment, he chose to pass... At this level, he doesn't have what it takes to be a striker.

With the ball on his feet, Isagi launched the ball away as far and high as it could until it reached Kunigami.

It was our turn to counter. Our only chance of winning by a mile.
