It was early morning and not everybody was up yet. Just me, Carl, Lori, Dale, Jaqui, T-Dog, Glenn, and Andrea. T-Dog was making eggs. I take a fork full of eggs when Rick walks in the room and sits next to Lori. Glenn was groaning from being hungover.
"Where's all this come from?" He asked meaning the food.
"Jenner, he thought we could use it." Lori answered him.
"Don't ever, ever, let me drink again." Glenn said resting his forehead on his hand.
Shane walked in and grabbed a cup of coffee and sat down.
"What happened to you? Your neck?" T-Dog asked him.
There were three scratches from his jawline to his adams apple.
"Oh must've just done it in my sleep." He answered.
"I've never seen that happened to you." Rick told him.
"Me either." Shane said looking at Lori.
Daryl, Carol, Sophia, Kiara, Gabby, and Jenner walked in. Carol, Sophia, Gabby and Kiara sat at another table since all the seats were takin at ours.
"Morning." I told them smiling.
"Good morning." They answered.
"Hey doc I don't mean to slam you with questions this early-" Dale got cut off.
"But you will anyway." Jenner said pouring himself some coffee.
"Look we didn't come for the eggs." Andrea said sternly.
Jenner sighed.

Jenner took us to the same room with all the computers in it and pressed some buttons and spoke.
"Give me playback of TS-19."
"Playback of TS-19." 'VI' said and brought up some stuff on a huge screen.
"Only few people got to see this." Jenner told us. "Kiara hasn't even seen it." He said gesturing to her.
The screen started bringing up layers of a head.
"Is that a brain?" Me and Carl asked almost in unison.
"An extraordinary one. Not that it matters in the end." He answered.
"Take us in to E.I.V." He told VI.
"Enhanced Internal View." VI spoke and the screen showed the inside of its brain.
"What are those lights?" Shane asked him.
"It's a person's life. Experiences, memories, it's everything. Somewhere in that organic wiring, in those ripples of light is you. The things that make you unique, and human." Jenner told us.
"You don't make sense, ever?" Daryl asked him obviously not knowing what he means.
"Those are synapses, electric impulses in the brain that carries all the messages. They determine everything a person says, thinks, or does from the moment of birth to the moment of death."
"Death? That's what this is a vigil?" Rick asked walking up to him.
"Yes. Or rather the playback of a vigil." Jenner answered.
"This person died? Who?" Andrea asked walking up to Jenner.
"Test subject 19. Someone who was bitten, infected, and someone who had volunteered to have us record the process. VI, scan forward to the first event."
