"What happened this time?" Lauren asked worryingly as she followed behind multiple security guards. "He's okay right?"
"The doctor is with him right now, Miss Jauregui" The men in the suits opened up the large doors to her fathers bedroom, revealing the house doctor bent over Mike's lifeless body.
"God dammit," Lauren muttered under her breath as she fast walked over.
"Your father is over dosing right now, Lauren." The doctor stabbed a needle into her fathers arm while Lauren did the usual routine of connecting an IV bag. "It's a level 3. The worse it's ever been."
"H-How? Travis what happened?" She turned her head to the guard at the door. "You were supposed to be with him the entire night!"
"I was, ma'am. He told me he was going to take advil and I saw him take two pills. We started to walk over but he went down and that's when I called the doctor over." He said firmly.
Lauren looked down at her father, seeing his skin turn into a faint color. She always knew that Mike had an addiction problem, but just last year, he had promised her to quit. Every time he came home, he would be fine and that's what caused her to believe that he was truly okay.
"We need to rush him to the hospital, I don't have the right supplies for a level three OD." The doctor said, completely flustered.
Several of the guards went to do their duty by either calling the hospital, getting Mike up and to the car, or clearing a path for them to get out of the home and gates quickly.
Lauren never left her fathers side, despite how disappointed she was. They were about to enter the back garage to make a secret escape, but were stopped by a concerned voice.
"What happened?"
The green eyed billionaire turned around, seeing a familiar brunette standing not far behind.
"Camila, I told you to stay at the party." Lauren demanded yet again.
"Is Mike okay?" Camila stepped forward as she continued to look at the guards helping him into the vehicle. "Where are you guys going?"
"H-He's overdosing, Camz." The taller girl rolled a hand through her hair.
"Miss Jauregui, we're ready. The hospital knows we're coming." Travis called out from the drivers seat.
"Let me come with you." Camila noticed Lauren's questionable expression. "I'm not asking, Lauren."
"Fine."
Two hours of waiting in the hospital waiting room wasn't a settling feeling for the young billionaire. Her father was considerably her best friend whenever he was home, and despite how angry she was with him after this incident, she couldn't help but just pray for the best.
"Are you okay?" Camila put a gentle hand on top of Lauren's, instantly calming the green eyes down.
"Nervous," Lauren shrugged. "To say the least."
"He's going to be okay. From what I know, this hospital is probably the number one in all of New York for saving lives. They get patients like your father all the time, so trust me, he's going to be okay." Camila pulled her recent statements out of her ass, but saw Lauren finally loosening up. If Mike didn't turn out okay, she knew she was going to be screwed.
"LJ!" Dinah ran in quickly with a brown grocery bag in hand. "Is Mike alright?"
"I don't know," Lauren shrugged and hugged her friend.
"I came as soon as I could," Dinah dug through the bag. "I brought you guys a change of clothes and Zendaya bought you guys something to eat. She says sorry she couldn't come, her manager would have killed her if she did."
