Serey and Kauli! Children of Broly?!

Chapter 1: Harbinger of death and malice

Alright! Chapter one is finally up!

  After their mother's announcement of moving to the famous Satan City, the family of three have been packing their belongings for almost a week now. Yugen's brother, Ginga, had arrived earlier that day with a moving van and is helping them out with the move. Kauli and Serey effortlessly moved all the home's furniture already into the van. All that is left is for them to pack the last of their smaller belongings.

   Yugen was attempting to pack the pictures of her children at different stages of their lives, but keeps getting distracted by the memories that went with them. 'I wonder how different these memories would be if you were here...' She said mentally to herself. As she was gazing of a picture of her twins' first birthday, a loud crash, followed by a short, high pitched yelp, came from down the hall.

  When she went to investigate the sound, her son Serey came running out of his room. "Serey, what happened?! Is everything alright?" Serey hugged his mother and trembled. "I-I can't find it! It's gone!" He squeak out. "What's gone?" His mother asked, already figuring out what happened. "EVIL INCARNATE! THE HARBINGER OF DEATH AND MALICE!" Yugen sighed. 'I knew it...' Kauli poked her head out her door. "What's he crying about now?" She said irratablely. "Your brother lost a spider in his room." "WHAT?!" Kauli screamed. Her furious gaze fell upon her twin. "How could you let it escape?! You've doomed us all!" "I'm sorry!" Serey replied with tears in the corner of his eyes. "Oh for Pete's sake..." Yugen left the two to argue and entered the boy's room.

  After a quick look around the empty room, she found the supposed "Harbinger of death and malice." It was an ity bity little thing. Yugen thought it was closer to cute than evil. Feeling sorry for it she grabbed a piece of paper a scooped up the baby aracanid and let it outside the window. "It's safe now!" She called out. Serey peeked around the corner, scanning the room before he entered. "Thanks Mom!" He said with a goofy smile on his face. Yugen chuckled at her son and left to finish packing her things.

  As she was about to reenter her room, a panicked voiced appeared. "What happened? What I miss?" Said a worn out man that ran into the hall. He had messy black mop of hair, accompanied by a scruffy goatee. On his face was a pair of ridiculous round glasses that the stereotypical nerd would wear. "Late to the party as usual Ginga." Yugen teased. Ginga stuck out his tongue at his younger sibling. Yugen explained the incident to her brother as she forced him to help her pack (which helped to keep her from getting distracted.) "Those two sure a strange pair. Especially if you consider their father." Ginga said in a joking manner. He never officially met Broly, so all what he knows about him is what little information his sister told him. "You could say that again." She responded while taping up the last box of items. "But that's a good thing though..." She pulled out a permanent marker a labeled the box. She handed the box to her brother to bring out to the van. " Alrighty then... Go see if the kids are ready, 'kay sis?" Ginga said leaving the now empty room. 'Hopefully this would be the last time we move...' Yugen thought to herself.

   She picked herself up and knocked on her daughter's door. "Come in!" Yugen entered the room and saw her daughter labeling a medium sized box. "Serey already finished. He's in the living room playing with that dumb bird of his. I'm about done here." Yugen nodded her head and took a look around her daughter's room. The walls had several holes in them, probably from when Kauli's temper flared. 'Hopefully our new house won't end up this battle scarred.' She kissed her daughter's head and head to the living room where she found her son playing with his cockatiel.

    "Ok Chocobi! It's time to go Super Saiyan!" Serey said excitedly, not noticing his mother's presence. His hair went from it's usual ebony color to gold and his eyes shifted to an emerald green. Chocobi lifted it feathers on his head and began mimicking the sounds of a super Saiyan's aura with his whistles. Yugen giggled at the display. Serey noticed his mother and reverted back to normal, returning the bird to it's cage after giving it a treat. "Are we all ready to go?" He asked nervously. 'I can't believe Mom caught me doing that...' Serey thought as he felt his cheeks burn from a blush. Yugen ruffled the boy's hair lovingly. "As soon as you sister is done, we'll be ready to go." Just as she finished that statement, Kauli came lazily into the living room. She gave the two a nod as she went out to the truck where her uncle waited. Yugen followed along with Serey after he picked up Chocobi's cage. The time for them to enter Satan City was finally upon them

Thanks for reading chapter 1 guys! It took me awhile to get it flowing the way I wanted to, but it's finally done! Hope you enjoyed it.

I think I left Kauli out a lot in this chapter, so you guys probably don't really know personality yet. I'll try to fix this in later chapters.
