Chapter 20: the doctor's dream

I was in my bed sleeping when I heard faint screaming the noise woke me up I wasn't in the mood to be woken up, still half asleep I looked at the clock it's was 4:00 in the morning I cursed under my breath and grabbed my sonic and walked out I followed it, it led to the doctor's room I knocked on the door finding it locked guess the TARDIS locked it "doctor you ok?" I said I placed my ear to the door "go away!" He yelled "but are you ok?" I said "no please I'm sorry I'll be a good pet" he said did he just say pet? I thought "doctor please let me in" I said "n-no j-just g-go a-away" he said I couldn't take it any more I soniced the door and walked in "doctor please I'm trying to help you" I said the door closed as soon as I got in I went over to him "doctor?" He looked at me "please help me there hurting me." He said I walked over to him "who is?" I asked I placed my hand on his hand he gasped "don't you dare touch me!" He said through clenched teeth he got up and slapped me I fell to the floor tears now in my eyes "doctor what was that for!?" I said holding my face he came over and grabbed me by the neck I struggled "doctor please" I said as I tried gasping for air I tried to grab his arms and pull them away but he had a strong grip on me "I'm not your pet" he growled "I didn't say you were" I said trying to get air his eyes softened and let go of me I crumpled to the floor gasping and coughing he started crying "I'm sorry Lilly I'm so sorry" he said I jumped when I felt a hand on my shoulder it was caring and like a mothers touch I smiled the TARDIS unlocked the door and we walked out and into the kitchen I wanted to know about his nightmare and why did he try to strangle me? I made some tea and he sat down I came back with two mugs the lights came on and I could see his face we both looked up and smiled at the ceiling.
"Why did you slap me?"
"I thought you were going to hurt me."
"I would never do that."
"No?"
"No."
"I've been having that dream for a while now."
"Can you tell me about it?" He nodded and sighed I saw his hands start to shake "if you don't want to that fine" I said sipping my tea "no,no I need to tell someone" he said sipping his own tea I nodded "I dream that I'm in this room but it has bars so like a cage" he looked at me I was looking at him waiting for him to go on "I have this collar around my neck it's heavy and you can unattache to the wall and lead people anywhere" he took a long drink this time I waited "there's these two guys that always beat me up and take me to a room and they hurt me even more" he tried holding back some tears I look at him sad "then I look over..." He started crying I placed my hand on his now shaking hand "what did you see when you looked over?" I said almost in a whisper "you" my mouth went dry and felt weak "I called your name but you have a gag over your mouth and your in chains when there done with me they go over to you you try to get away but they hold you down" he said I was shocked "Lilly you ok?" He placed his other hand on my knee I jumped "what yeah I'm fine" I said and I took a long drink of my now cold tea my eyes started getting blurry with tears. I wipe them away "hey let's go to a planet" I said hoping that it'll change both of our moods he smiled weakly "ok" I smiled and walked out "no how about we go to Victorian London" he said I smiled "even better" he flicked some switches I walked to the wardrobe room and picked out a dress and put it on then I found some shoes and put those on and walked out I almost tripped over my dress as I walked out the doctor was now dressed in his usuall clothes "how do you dress so fast?" I said he smiled "bit of wibbly wobbly stuff" I smiled "only you could make up those words" he smiled we landed and he got out a top hat and walked out "so what year is it?" I asked him "it's the year 1988" I nodded there was a scream "after you" I said he smiled and took off running I was right behind him we came to a girl on her back with a knife in her back I gasped and turned away just then the police came the doctor showed his sphycic paper to the officers they nodded "what does it say?" I asked him he showed it to me "detective John Smith and his lovely companion Lilly Smith" you think I'm lovely?" I said just then a carriage pulled up and the door opened three body's came out one was a sontaran the other was a human and the last one was a Silurian "um doctor?" I said he looked up "oh those are just some old friends of mine" he said the human looked over at me and the doctor "mam" she said the silurian looked up "doctor what on earth are you doing off of your cloud?" She asked "cloud?" I said "no mam not this one he's to young" said the girl "quiet right Jenny it's his past self" she said I smiled "anyway I'm Lilly" I said "yes I remember Lilly we were fighting krillatanes together" said the Silurian it was coming back to me now that was Jenny, Strax, and madam Vastra the detectives "yes hello long time no see" I said "Jack the ripper" he said "you mean the Jack the Ripper?" I asked him. He nodded "yes we have been trying to catch him ever since we saw him that first night" said Vastra I nodded "so what do we do mam?" Jenny asked Vastra "now Jenny my dear we go and try to find him" she smiled "care to join us doctor?" Said Jenny the doctor smiled and jumped up "of course" he said I smiled and went over to him "that's the doctor I know and don't worry your dream and secret are safe with me" he smiled "what was that boy?" Said Strax I rolled my eyes Strax the Sontaran always getting my gender wrong "Strax I'm a girl remember?" I said "right sorry girl" he said the doctor clapped his hands together "so let's go get this Jack the Ripper" he said smiling he was in such a better mood now and so was I.
